A Day In My Life: Traveling At Sitio Lawis, Barangay Punta Silum Manticao Misamis Oriental

Hello everyone, how are you today? I hope that you are all fine. Mindanao contains lots of Provinces and as of that it also includes those wonderful views and sceneries on each place. For today's post I've created, I will share some of the relaxing places at Sitio Lawis located in Barangay Punta Silum Manticao, Misamis Oriental. Well, most of the people called by its name even if there are lots of houses built at the place facing towards the sea. This morning, me and my Family were decided to went to the place for a laundry activities. The creek is quite far from our house and it needs to walk a few kilometers away before reaching the place.

The First photo located at Zone 5 Barangay Punta Silum. There are lots of houses built near at the cliff and it is made of light materials just like woods, lumbers and plywoods. From the top of the cliff, we can see the great overviews including the deep blue sea and some big trees and coconut plants grows in the place. Below is the National Road also were lots of vehicles always passing by everyday.

Its 9 in the morning and the sun really shines in the open field. We keep ourselves walking to reach our destination in time and begun laundrying fetching water for laundry activities is very difficult that is why it is better to washed it on the creek. I can see how beautiful and calm the weather was, there are only small clouds and there was no strong winds happens. Lots of birds flying up in the sky and noises of vehicles passing by the road.

This place is near at the creek. Lots of bamboos planted in here and it is very important to all residents here so that they can have any bamboo materials used for building their houses such like walls, floors and other kinds of furniture and building porpuses. It was very relaxing the time when we passes by under this bamboo tree, the air was very cool and only the tweeting of birds can be seen. This people also went to the creek to do laundry and the children was very happy walking in the place.

An Abandoned Poultry Farm:

We also passed by in this light and great structures and this is the abandoned poultry Farm. The structure is made of light materials just like bamboo pieces, lumbers, plainsheets and some concrete also particularly the base of the poultry. Almost 800 Chickens raised that time but as many years has past, the business shot down and the owner of this place left and went to other Country. The place is already covered with wild grass and wild flowers and the structure are also slowly destroyed and broken because of the termites eaten those lumbers.

Not far enough from the abandoned poultry farm is this Unique vegetable Garden. This garden is very attractive and unique because of lots of vegetables planted at the place. Aside of that, there are also some of the big and tall trees can be seen here and it gives a shady areas of the Garden. The fence is made of Coconut palm, and some nets so that animals like chickens cannot easily getting inside of the Garden. There are also some vacant lots that have not yet cultivated and a few manggo trees planted at the area. I was very amazed of the great views and sceneries of the place specially this garden. It makes me inspired of gardening also. Vegetables like eggplants, String beans and Tomatoes planted in here and some of it are nearly harvested.

Even if this place is quitely very far from urbanized areas, still it is very beautiful and enjoyable to visit or lived here. There are lots of valuable crops and vegetables we can choose to plant and we can experienced the freshness of the place due to fresh air because of the trees. A perfect place to cultivate and some farm raising animals like cows and goats. This was my quick tour activities I did and I really amazed of the place I went.
