How could you lost your voice unexpectedly like that. If that's true there must have been signs of the problem that you didn't pay attention to before the meeting.

All I remember is that I ate sweets and desserts the night before the gathering and had a long conversation with my mother. When I woke up in the morning, I felt a problem with my throat, and my voice was hoarse. I thought I could still speak, but when I started talking, I struggled, and my speech was unclear. I don't want to burden people while I am speaking and that is why I called my son.

Was your son able to represent you well?

When I was his age, I was assigned to speak in an afternoon service, though I had not taken yet courses on hermeneutics and homiletics. He is better.

I am happy for you and your son. Having a son who can have your back when things aren't going well is a great blessing.

You're right. I have two. I hope and pray that my eldest son too will find his own calling in life.

I'm guessing you might have an allergy of some sort maybe that could have caused it.

Someone said it's because of late-night sleeping. Perhaps it just triggered on that day.

Yes I think that could be a reason. Usually for me when I sleep late even if it's long sleep, just because I slept late, I have pains in my chest and heart

Why, even though we know that such practice isn't good for our health, and yet we still do it? 😅
