I saw the advert of this shirt by Temu, and it says I can get it for just $1 in the app as a new user, but when I downloaded the app and register, the price there is $12. Although they said it's a 56% discount price, the $1 advert was a bait to get people to download their app.

I see their app getting more popular amongst people because of their ads. I still haven't downloaded it yet.

The ads are misleading. It's not what they advertised that you see in the app.
They are still new in the market compared to others. So, for me its not about their ads. But, it's about the reviews on their products.
Most of the reviews are not good, some claimed they got different sizes of the products they ordered for. It's either the products are too small or it's just a frame of the real product. Perhaps, people are still don't know how to select products on the app. Just my thought though.
In terms of clothing. I was seeing online the size in cm or inches for each product. Because, it is different from a store to another. But, I agree, people have been buying products from it because of their ads. Not, because, they knew their quality or have tried something from it before.

I can only advise to NEVER EVER buy anything from Temu!
Worse yet, they give you 100% discount on 3 articles and you have to buy articles worth 5x the actual value. !LOL
TEMU was trying to get me signed on with a $50 credit. I was going to do it but haven't went forward with it.
