India's Social Experiment

Today's topic is rather complex than an easy one. Let's start with defining simpler terms. The first word democracy - signifies that the people or citizens hold the power and every guiding, administrating institution is derived from this root power. Signifying the wrongness in a democracy is not a positive remark, rather my focus will be explaining it as a social experiment. Yes, the Indian democracy is an emerging and aspiring social experiment. It is a race against the redundant, rudimentary, orthodoxical approach. However, as I mentioned, this is a social experiment, and this blog will have many perspectives and contrasting thoughts.

Basic Issues

Like every democracy, evolution is not a linear line rather it engulfs a lot of small revolutionaries activities in it. In the context of India, corruption, bribery, the lackluster approach of administration, and the self-centric attitude of civil servants are eclipsing the sacrifices and dues paid by the freedom fighters a few decades ago. Yet, It refrains from reorganizing, there is a tussle happening between the new India and old India. A part is about to fall and another waiting to rise. In this social transition, a lot of silent sacrifices are happening intentionally and unintentionally. In the garb of shining progress, some are living with no shine.

The frustration

It is very hard to understand the frustration as society seems to be in pieces. If you pick one, you will miss the other. In the unity of diversity, unity seems to be lagging, and diversification getting stronger day by day. How one will look at this problem - class-wise, caste-wise, region-wise, or religion-wise? It is difficult for me to put underlying happenings in front of you. For me, I aspire for unity but the cost of it looks horror too. In confusion, how things will fall into place, is it a phase or it will be solved naturally as we move ahead? It is difficult.

Aspirations

Aspirations, desires, improvements, modernization, local to global, all these buzz words may not show the picture clearly, but in this race of change, fresh seeds are getting buried deeper, under the wheels, in the soil. Will they grow up in a plant or a tree? that depends on how the environment is going to be. Prospering numbers may lie, but the faces of weakers won't. I hope the aspirations turn into lives and do not just remain in numbers as a part of any index. It is modern, don't call it old, it is progressive don't call it orthodox, somewhere in the experiment of truth, a lot is getting forgotten.

I hope the newness knows the direction from where the sun will rise, or else it will be another cold night. I aspire for a bright society too, maybe from directing the nation, we may end up directing the global too. I hope you don't find my words confusing, it is complex, for a reason so you get the feeling of what tussle I am in while speaking to you.
