Orcanorc's Magical Journey - A Skyrim Tale - Part Twenty One
New enemies can be found
A couple of spiders were killed off as the discovering continued and this led to finding Hillgrund's Tomb, but not a place Orcanorc and the others were stopping in at just right now.
"Better head towards Riften for now and find that bone altar, hopefully I can summon that skeleton to fight alongside us and we can have an easier time" he said as they continued toward Riften.
A bridge was nearby which leads to Riften by path and it was a dangerous section of Skyrim. A group of Welwa were waiting for anyone to come their way.
They attacked with force and Orcanorc decided to keep back while Vorstag took the brunt of the hits, it was needed since the creeping cold damage could be continuously put onto these Welwa, until Vorstag helped finish them off.
"Well look at this weapon Orcanorc. You should take it and hold for me in case we don't sell it" Vorstag mentioned as they found an iron greatsword of havoc on a dead adventurer.. it means living targets may attack their friends instead of the group, but only for the lower level enemies.
We can find the group starting to really experience different enemies now, after passing an abandoned prison to come across some goblins fighting what looks like some animals but they had killed off the animals, leaving room for the slightly weakened goblins to be surprise attacked by the group.
After the bodies were looted and a short ways up the path, a wild Durzog was found. This thing looks like a giant lizard and was pretty badass!
"Take this axe to your skull, you shall fall and not kill me" Vorstag weirdly sung as they kept damaging it until they killed off yet another new enemy.
"Quickly all, let's get the upper hand on these tougher looking goblins while we have a chance" Orcanorc claimed as they rushed in with some swift blows.
This would be a lucky fight with the goblins focusing on the avenging wraith plus Vorstag and Lydia, with Orcanorc coming from behind, doing big amounts of damage and made it go a lot smoother than it could have gone.
As Orcanorc leads the group closer to the next bone altar so he can summon another skeleton, to fight alongside them all, there were some heated waters being passed that would be cool to visit but was not a priority.
Longstride kept being used to increase speed and carry capacity so being over-encumbered, does not constantly slow him down and he can be carrying less weight, once at the bone altar and the next skeleton is summoned.
"More health is good as I keep leveling up and the perk.. I am using destruction mastery as a way to boost my damage output for creeping cold and dragon's teeth, plus any others I gain later on" said Orcanorc as he leveled up and felt himself getting a lot stronger all the time.
Next was some more Welwa creatures nearby, forcing a fight as they had started to attack the group which was only going smoother because of some distance, between some of them.
More Goblins were waiting to ransack traveling parties for all their hard earned loot and belongings. Only a pair of them but this skirmisher Orcanorc went toe to toe with, managed to reduce his health down closer to a victory!
"Finally Orcanorc, you can summon the next skeleton and we will be a mighty force of deadly misfits" Vorstag said before laughing as they reached the rift bone altar.
He got straight to the summoning since there was enough bones being carried and part of why he was carrying too much.
Now that there were two skeletons looking badass and ready to get into the fights and protect the group, and once they took a breather to rest up, Whiterun needs to be visited to get rid of some items and check for anything that can be bought while there.
