Orcanorc's Magical Journey - A Skyrim Tale - Part Ten
Venture off but are there dragons yet?
After all that fighting and during the short rest before continuing on, it was used wisely to level up the stamina and choose at least 1 perk for now that had been decided upon.. Mystic Binding would allow the bound sword or any bound weapon spell, to be much stronger by summoning mystic weapon versions instead.
"Are we not going to enter this Orotheim cave right now, Orcanorc?" Vorstag was curious into what was going on.
"I just wanted to explore a little bit first and then decide what is next because of how big the land is and there is a lot to find and clear. Don't worry, you will be here for the glorious adventuring, Vorstag" said Orcanorc in response to his curiousity.
A little further up from where they were running and chatting, was a Pygmy Hill Troll and this thing was so small and not ready for what was to come!
The Flame Atronach was summoned and so was the bound sword. Damage was done by both with this easy fight, as the final blow was an over the top stab as it burned and was put out of its misery.
"Here we are Vorstag. Eldersblood Peak is a good place to check out and see if any dragons are here.. if not then we can clear what's here and move on until a later time, when a dragon is hopefully here" Orcanorc claimed as they ran up the mountain and came across Frost Trolls.
Fire would be ideal here and the Flame Atronach of course, was summoned but it had falling off the side of the lip part of where they were.. running in with the sword and swinging wildly turned out to be the wrong move, as he ended up getting hit hard by the troll and this resulted in a swift loss.
This next time around he made sure to keep some distance while using the bow and having the atronach do some fire damage, back stepping to safety anytime it was needed and ensuring his continued damage output. After a bunch of arrows and taking down not one, but two Frost Trolls with the help around him, Orcanorc went up to learn a new shout called Weapon, Disarm.
"I was hoping to see a dragon but instead got trolled" he thought to himself as he learned the shout.
With another location explored successfully and the push forward continuing to work on getting strong every day, the town of Morthal was discovered with all its nice and quaint, little charm for a smaller village sort of town.
"Maybe we should explore Morthal for a bit and see what is around" Vorstag advised as a way to take a moment away from fighting, for a change.
Orcanorc decided to go with that advise. It started with checking out the Thaumaturgist's Hut to do a bit of alchemy work and create some potions.
This led to discovering new potions from the ingredients, including potions like the resist frost or the fortifying conjuration and stamina potions, among anything else that he managed to create and learn from.
Next stop was to rest at the inn for some time to take in the atmosphere of people having a good time, or listening to Lurbuk the Bard and his lute that was being played for entertainment, to those relaxing in the inn.
The next morning after both Orcanorc and Vorstag had a great night's sleep, Orcanorc was challenged by Benor, to a brawl to see who was the toughest.
"Very well if you want to lose, then I cannot stop you but I can take your gold!"
It was a bloody but a great brawl. Orcanorc was doing much more damage as he showed up Benor and why a brawl was a bad ides, in the first place. It was an easy 100 gold earned and helps to grow the stockpile and beefing up his strength further!
Final stop before heading back out to Markarth to sell the unwanted loot, was to see Jarl Idgrod due to the house fire that was suspicious, but someone had to look into it as the suspected murderer couldn't be proved guilty at this time but nobody wanted to look into it.
Aslfur offered some work to Orcanorc so that someone could kill the bandit leader at Robber's Gorge. "Count me in and don't worry, I will ensure the bandit leader is killed off" announced Orcanorc as they set off for Markarth.

This will always be a great game!
I spoke to one of my friends the other that decided on buying it while it was on a massive sale. He said that he decided on buying it because he has started the game over like four or five times and he never finishes it (I have the same problem, because we always played the cracked version) so he bought the real one to play and when he forgets about it in a year or two when he jumps back he can just continue where he left of! Not having to worry about formatting or what not!
I think I must do the same!
It is a good idea, buying it on special and having the saved game for when you come back to play again.
I have played it heaps over the years!
I can't even begin to think how far I would have been if I bought it all those years back 😅
