Orcanorc's Magical Journey - A Skyrim Tale - Part Fourteen
Not welcome still but causing some havoc is fun
Someone called Durak approached Orcanorc to discuss the Dawnguard and whether he would be willing to help kill vampires.
"Where do I sign up to kill vampires? I want to at least find out more about the requirements and check out the Dawnguard" he said as they discussed the Dawnguard and how he is best to speak to their leader about this further.
He had plenty of time to think about that decision, right now he did some smelting and blacksmithing, did some buying and selling.
He finally started buying new spells by starting with Crackle from Farengar. This would be a lighting sort of destruction spell to do some magic damage and be a cool looking storm cloud to watch follow the target and damage them.
"Off to the Markarth keep we go Vorstag and see if we don't get slaughtered by guards this time" he announced as they headed off to Markarth keep where they did encounter the city guards.. but this time they managed to kill one off and injure another to almost half health. Of course it ended up soon to be another death for Orcanorc but they were doing much better in this fight now.
After being shown that they are not welcome in Markarth yet again, one next stop off would be receiving Lisbet's shipment from Druadach Redoubt. At least once it had been discovered after a long walk and run there.
Orcanorc and Vorstag were back on the road to explore more of Skyrim, while working to complete extra quests for power and money.
"Move along, nothing to see here" said an Imperial Soldier leading some prisoners.
Orcanorc had the fun idea of messing with the Imperials by setting the prisoners free. This was followed up with a full on fight with them all dying, crackle and bound sword making light work but the prisoners were slain by one of the soldiers.
"I don't think you will be needing these. It's not like you can swim anyway" said Orcanorc as he took bones off the corpses as he worked on collecting more for summoning skeletons to fight alongside him and Vorstag.
This was before he decide to hide the bodies.. yes hide them by throwing them all off the cliff and into the river so it would be hard to know when and where, these prisoners and Imperial Soldiers were slain.
After disposing of the bodies the next stop was Karthwasten which is a small mining village that had trouble with a small group being led by Atar, controlling the Sanuarach Mine.
Ainethach was wanting them all gone from the mine. Luckily for him, Orcanorc and his persuasive tactics by bribing Atar with 140 gold was more than enough, to get the group to leave and the villagers were able to work in peace once again.
The pair continued on in the morning to keep tracking well so they could complete this quest. Up a mountain they went to head to another dragon's nest which was showing no signs of the dragon being around again, must be elsewhere right now.. but a Sabre Cat was on the mountainside which after a couple of crackles, was able to be executed, surprisingly enough.
Upon arriving at Dragontooth Crater and heading in to the guts of this place, a Hagraven and Forsworn Forager were lurking and had claimed this place as theirs. This was going to be tough with how much damage they were outputting for a quick kill on Orcanorc.
Another attempt was made by going for the Forsworn first in hopes it would be quicker and be one less worry and allow the Hagraven to be dealt with solo. Well this did not work out as he had planned and it was going to require standing back a bit while doing some damage.
"Take this you foul, wretched old hag" Vorstag shouted as he went in swinging while the crackle cast by Orcanorc helped do a lot more damage this time.
Now able to defeat it and turns to the Forsworn, more crackling was cast and this time.. this was the time they could be victorious so then the place could be looted.
The new shout learned was the power Air, Elemental Fury which sounded like boosting speed power of Orcanorc but he would need to be able to test it out.
"Well this loot was a bit disappointing!" sighed Orcanorc as he found 100 gold and the Staff of Flames as the main loot that was wanted.
