Orcanorc's Magical Journey - A Skyrim Tale - Part Eleven
After buying some empty soul gems to fill with the souls of his victims, along with lockpicks from the trading company seller, it was time to go back to the Shrine of Talos where Eltrys was meant to be but was a dangerous spot.
Entering the building saw the guards ready to fight and a dead Eltrys by the shrine. "We know who you are and why you are here" one of the guards announced as Orcanorc prepared for a dangerous fight.
"Die, you scumbag guards. You should not be interfering in the business of others where it doesn't concern you" he shouted as the fight got underway.
It was a back and forth of damage from both sides. Vorstag and Orcanorc were a lot stronger now which meant it would take a lot more hits before either died, but this was not something they had planned on happening, so a bit of time had passed while it was going on and in the end, it was indeed Orcanorc and Vorstag being victorious by a close call with low health left.
"Well Orcanorc, may as well loot Eltrys's body since he is dead now" Vorstag claimed as they walked up to his body.
Upon having a look at what he had, the necklace of recharging was one of the better items to take but the huge amount of gold, that was a bit suspicious as to why he would be carrying so much right now. They decided it was best to not others come loot the body and claim this for their own stockpile.
"Stop where you are and don't move. You are being taken in for your crimes" announced a Markarth City Guard.
"Well I would rather die than go to prison for something I was framed for" Orcanorc shouted back before rushing in to attack, leading to multiple deaths in an attempt to fight the five or so guards that ended up coming for him.
He started getting smarter about the fight and letting Vorstag with his strength, absorb some of the blows while Orcanorc could start swinging.
But ultimately this was deemed too strong of a fight to win anytime soon and the best choice, was to run out of town and turn in any quests at a later higher level gained time, to hope the fight will be a lot easier and more successful.
"Come on old girl let's do this. We got to get out of here so I am safe once more" Orcanorc said to the horse he stole as part of his getaway. One guard was in the way and trying to stop him like the others were, yet the ride off continued and the guard had stopped pursuing.
Once he was clear of the town and a decent way out he had a look back. He took a deep breath before galloping off to the next cave.
After riding the horse for a while and making their way from a previous location to finding Rannveig's Fast as a stop along the way to the next cave, some ghosts were haunting this location and started to attack, not wanting to let Orcanorc and Vorstag through alive.
Although they could have been dangerous once, at this time they were just weak ghosts that were slain and unable to stop the pair from passing through.
"Looks like they thought they were stronger than they really were, am I right Orcanorc or what, haha" Vorstag said before laughing at the idea.
Swindler's Den was discovered and is a possible next stop. The bandit out the front standing guard got disposed of with no issues before they headed up the mountain a bit to see if there were any ore veins to mine.. they found more than that though.
When the gold ore vein was being mined to gather the glorious gold for making jewelry and other items, what popped up from it was a Gold Guardian made of basically a gold ore vein. It was strong and almost killed Orcanorc quickly, prompting some mass healing as Vorstag kept attacking. With the staff out and doing some good damage, the pair of them, they took this thing down and claimed the gold ore for their loot and rested up on this mountain while deciding if they were going in this cave here or not.
