My Relative's 18th Debut Party In Calangahan Beach Resort, Lugait Misamis Oriental

All of us here on Earth were born by our parents and because of that, we celebrate our birthday every year. I want to share with you the very important and special day of my relative in her 18th debut party. It is our custom to celebrate a Debut party when a girl turns 18 and this day is very important and special.

But before I share the program, I will share my relative's birthday preparations. When it's this kind of occasion, everyone is really busy cooking food and putting up different kinds of decorations, especially in the newly opened beach resort where the Birthday will be held.

Preparation Before the Debut Party:

Everyone was busy cooking food and also preparing the Birthday items. Food ingredients, plates, spoons, forks and much more. Others put paper plates in paper plate holders so that people have something to use and don't have to wash the plates because they are immediately replaced. This plan is great for guests to eat right away. Everyone helped each other to make the job easier and get everything ready and make the occasion perfect.

I also went to the Venue and saw that the reception hall of the Beach resort was also busy with decorations. They put various decorations such as colorful fabrics, beads, balloons and ribbons to make it more beautiful and pleasant to look at. Sound systems and lighting have also been installed with the help of the owner of the sound system they rented. This is one of the important things to have background music while dancing or speaking.

Colorful Papers have also been hung on the stair handle to make the venue more beautiful, along with red carpets and curtains.

During the Debut Party:

At 5 o'clock in the afternoon the special occasion began. My cousin walked slowly into the hall with her parents. Everyone was emotional with joy. While the 18 roses and candles are also ready to give candles and roses. Fortunately, the weather is not rough and the sea is calm, so there are no problems.

Her Father held her so that she wouldn't step on the gown while walking to the front where the Birthday celebrant would sit. My cousin could feel the excitement and joy of her special day. All the 18 roses and candles were complete, including the treasures bringer on such an occasion, so my cousin was even happier.

When the march was over, the prayer began. This is actually our custom, to pray before the occasion or program begins. Everyone who listens to the prayers mentioned by my Uncle is sincere.

After the prayer, everyone was invited to come to the hall, especially the 18 roses and candles bringers. This is exactly what is done when there is a debut, so we have become accustomed to it. Everyone is wearing Toxido to make everyone look more gallant. Especially those who bring roses and candles.

Soon, candles and roses began to be given to the birthday party and I could see everyone's joy and happiness. Everything went well and the program was followed.

Then there was a short speech to the principal sponsors and guests. Each of them gives a wish for the one who held the birthday. There was a bit of dancing and singing so everyone was entertained and enjoyed. Next came the giving of gifts and money from the treasure bringers, including the giving of a wish for the birthday party.

Then took a picture with the food. This is exactly what we do when there is a special occasion, taking photos of the food on the table. Even though the occasion is simple, my cousin's face can still be seen with joy and happiness because of the birthday.

After the picture taking, prays over the food. This is what we do before eating, pray first. Then spoons and plates began to be given to the guests and there were those assigned to provide food so that there would not be a shortage and so that all the guests could eat.

Before the happy and special occasion ended, the birthday celebrant was given time to speak. She thanked her parents, relatives, family members, close friends and classmates for attending her birthday. And the special occasion ended happily and successfully.
