Sunday has snuck up on me again. I guess that means that I've been enjoying my weekend, and I would lying if I said otherwise! I hope you are all having a relaxing weekend and have some time off of work. The weather has been awesome the last couple of days with warm sunny days, one of the things I do love about living in southern California. If you can handle the crowded freeways, earthquakes, high taxes, and overpopulation it's not such a bad place!
Today is my weekly HSBI and DUO token giveaway. Hard to believe I've been doing this for forty-three weeks now... Time flies when you're having fun or even when you're not these days. At least for me it is anyway. Before we jump into today's winners from last week, I want to share some of the responses we got from last week's entry question. I asked about New Year's resolutions and I got all sorts of great responses. The most popular was to get in shape!

Saving money is always a good plan. How many professional athletes make millions and end up broke like Mike Tyson? Don't be like them, Hive's a great way to do that especially if you are stacking up those HBD! Always have an emergency fund because you never know when you will need it. I've been there before and was grateful that I had some money saved for a rainy day. The Giveaway

I don't hate Disney stuff but I don't care for them. I did enjoy some when I was a kid. Most will say Lion King but I was never into it. Peter Pan was probably my favorite as a kid.

I don't understand this rise of hive since btc is going down, well at the moment it is recovering a little, but I see that hive goes the other way, when btc goes up it goes down and when btc falls it goes up. Disney made some really good movies especially in the past. I'm not a big fan of all this singing because it is often over done imo. But ❄️ Frozen ❄️ feels like a good musical to me.

As for living in California and taxes, I might want to argue on that one! I live in Belgium, haven’t had 2 days of sun for over 6 weeks, and pay over 50% of taxes! 😂😂😂

Will do my friend! I know that Belgium has high taxes, but isn't there quality free healthcare included? Too bad about the lack of sun, I love sunny days. That's why I moved here in the first place!

We have health care included indeed, but the quality has been declining steeply in the past years. Same as the "free" part. It used to be pretty much free, with only a small percentage that had to be paid. These days the prices are rizing immensely, the own percentage is increasing, and the treatments that are "free" are reduced as well. Without an extra insurance, if you get sick, the average family still can't afford it. Even with the extra insurance, a lot of people can't (and can't even pay the extra insurance).
Same for pension, yeah, we receive pension at 66, but the amount is that of the average price of a house/appartment & electricity.
Nemo was pretty much fun indeed ;-) Cars would be my second choice :-D

Not so much into Disney animated movies, more into Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean (before wokeness craziness) which is now also owned by Disney.
It really sucked that the woke crap came in and ruined such great franchises. Hopefully they have smartened up enough to fire all of the woke fanatics and get back to making good movies!

When you have been watching Disney movies for over 50 years, there are a LOT to choose from. For me, the music is important in these movies (the good ones always seem to come up in my head). I guess from that standpoint, I have to go with Jungle Book (the original). Between Baloo singing "Bear Necessities", King Louie singing "I Want To Be Like You", and the vultures singing "We're Your Friend" (because there's never been an animal they didn't like), there is always one popping into my memory. Besides, who can't love Kaa the snake falling out of the tree and getting a knot in his tail.
