Ten HSBI and Two DUO Token Giveaway Week 19

Happy Sunday everyone! I always enjoy the weekend, I even managed to sleep in for once. For me that's a rare occurrence because my body is so used to getting up by six in the morning! Not that I like it, it's just what happens, but the extra sleep was nice.

Last week for the contest I did a poll about who were cat vs dog people. We had 14 answers, 6 went for cats and 8 went for dogs. So the dogs take the day this time around! I had a couple graciously shared pictures of their pets which is always fun to see. First up @silvertop shared pictures of his dogs that have since passed on, but they sure were cute dogs. He now has a couple cats!

Now I think we should move onto today's contest question. If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you bring with you?

My answer is pretty straight forward, number one: a boat! Number two: would be lots and lots of beer or maybe bourbon. And three: lot and lots of fresh water, I'm assuming I can survive off of coconuts until I run out of number two and then it's time to use item number 1.

Let's see what kind of crazy answers you guys can come up with on this one!

The Giveaway

I will be giving out two prizes of five (5) HSBI. Third prize will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . And the third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize is a legendary Splinterlands card or one HSBI unit! And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?

I would bring my wife, 100 years supply of food, and a download from the matrix on how to transform a desert island into a highly profitable pleasure island compete with airport and docks for cruise ships.

Thanks for the tokens! Good answers, the sat phone could get you out there in no time! Water distillation is always smart, fresh water can be hard to find. I've done enough survivalist things when I was younger that I would no longer like to rough it again!

Fortunately the CDC is wrong about 95% of the time on their predictions as of late... Bird flu would suck, hopefully these Colorado cases are the end of it!

Well........I would have to say I would bring my husband; my Bible and a satellite telephone to call for rescue (or take out)! 😁 That way, if it takes a while for rescue to reach us, I have someone to talk to and to help find something to eat; something to read, and the phone for communication and entertainment! Almost like never leaving home! 😁😎👍

I like this question, I'm half tempted to do an article on it and elaborate more. Perhaps show other items I considered. Anyways I go with stuff I actually own: my buck knife which has a fire starter, a #8 cast iron pan, and a medium axe. My philosophy is to enjoy myself a little bit than build something for my departure.

Nice! You could do a serious article about survival in just that situation. As long as you can build a fire, boil water, build a shelter, and find food you would be living a like a king until you can build a nice boat!

Exactly I gave some good thought about my choices. I wanted to make it a little challenging and pick things that I could use for multiple things. I believe what I have chosen would full fill all the eccentials. I would also utilize things in my environment as well. I have roughed it out before but with a little more than 3 things though, haha.
