My End of Month Inleo Premium Report and Some More Bonus Silver!

Another month has come and gone, it seems like it was just a blink of the eye. The mornings are starting to feel a little cooler here so fall is moving in quickly. I noticed in the neighborhood yesterday that the Halloween decorations were coming out and being set up in a few people's yards. It's a fun time of year here, and I'm sure Halloween will be here before I know it!

Today I will be sharing a couple of items. On Wednesdays I have been doing a summary of my experience using the InLeo premium service, and today is a month's end report. Because my old membership expired I renewed it with a new one just two days ago. I also will be sharing another silver token related to last weeks silver surprise. It's another nice Silver Striker token from the early American explorer series.

First up though is the InLeo premium service. For those unfamiliar, it is a paid service that cost 10 HBD a month or 100 HBD for a year. I tend to do the month to month plan myself. You do get some useful perks that aren't available to those using the frontend for free. The most useful in my opinion is the longer threads feature. The ability to share things on threads and not have to be overly careful counting characters used is useful. You can also edit threads as well as delete them, the editing comes in handy a lot for me as I tend to leave things out frequently or commit grammatical errors every now and again. It's been a few years since I took an English class in college!

Here is a screenshot of my InLeo premium service countdown, as you can see it's at day 29 indicating I renewed two days ago because it comes with 31 days of service.

One feature that they don't mention is that premium members do get priority on curations over the members using the free version. That only makes since because it's a paid service. It in no way guarantees a vote but if you produce quality material the odds are much higher. Without further ado let's take a look at my last month of service summary.

In my last membership period which ended two day ago I had posted twenty-six posts and received curation form @leo.voter on seven of them which sum up to $43.11. Then removing the 55% that goes back to InLeo that leaves me with $19.40. Subtracting that sum from my initial investment of 10 HBD I am $9.40 in the black. So my investment of 10 HBD provided a return of almost ten dollars, or almost double the initial investment. Not a bad return at all in my eyes!

So am I still happy with the InLeo premium experience? That is a definite yes. It's hard to double my investment on meme coins, so this is a much better investment and has had proven returns for me over the last eight months that I have been using it. Over that time they have greatly improved their frontend as well as their threads, so I think InLeo is headed in the right direction!

Next up the silver token I mentioned earlier...

Today I am sharing another Silver Striker token from the early American explorer series. I only have two from this collection which I bought together some years back. Last week I shared the Kit Carson token and this week it's Daniel Boone. Silver Striker tokens are commemorative tokens composed of pure silver and surrounded by a brass ring. They could be won playing the Silver Striker slot machines pretty much anywhere around the world. As I have mentioned multiple times I haven't seen one in years and I suspect they may be a thing of the past. Then again, I don't ever play slot machines anymore either!

Let's have a look at the token:

About the token

From silverstrikers.com

This token, like the last one I shared, has frosted surfaces which is rare in these types of tokens. It makes them really hard to image is the big downside. These were produced as a generic token used in slot machines in the state of Colorado. Exactly what casinos I'm not sure. I did trade away the one from last week to a friend years back, but I'm pretty sure I still have this one stored away still. What is nice about these is that they aren't all that common and their prices have been climbing over the last few years. They contain about 0.65 Troy ounces of silver in each one, so it not only a collectible but also a decent amount of pure silver.

Daniel Boone

From wikipedia.com

For those of us out there who enjoy drinking some fine bourbon every now and again we do have this fellow to thank for it. Boone didn't create bourbon but was one of the first explorers who ventured into Kentucky and established the first English speaking settlement in the region in 1775 called Boonesborough. It served as a way point to settlers moving farther west but later pretty much vanished by the late 1800's.

He was born in Pennsylvania in 1734 and by the age of fifteen had become known as one of the best hunters in the region. Many of his sills he learned from local Lenape Native Americans that lived in the area. His skills as a hunter became legendary and even spawning folktales as he ventured west into Kentucky. He was one of the first to explorers in Kentucky and help set up roads for pioneers heading westward.

During the American Revolutionary War he was a militia officer in Kentucky. He fought several battles against Native American who were allied with the British. After the war for a time he was taken in by Shawnee tribe of Native Americans, but left after part of the tribe captured, tortured, and killed on of his sons. I think that would have upset just about anyone, talk about a bad move on the tribe's part. He then went back to defending American settlements throughout Kentucky.

He spent his last years in Missouri, but we do have him to thank for helping establish Kentucky. It was here that many Scottish immigrants moved and began distilling the first bourbon. So if you like bourbon one of the many figures that helped make it's creation possible was Daniel Boone! You can read more about him in Wikipedia, I have the link in my references section.

That will wrap up my post for the day, I hope you enjoyed it. Pease feel free to add any comments or questions below and thank you for all of your support! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

DUO token

Over three months ago now I started a new token with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman with the goal of helping onboard and retain new members, and DUO was born. While we are still in the early phases it has grown quickly and currently has about 21,443 Hive Power in the curation account. For those who purchase and stake at least 200 tokens they are rewarded with a daily curation on their quality posts and daily Hive dividends. For those staking over 500 you have the ability to use the tipping bot and give out a DUO tip daily, and in return you also receive the same amount of DUO in your account as well. It pays to tip with DUO! Plus not many people out there have enough to tip yet, so it's pretty cool to give out DUO tips.

Right now tokens are one Hive a piece until the current tranche runs out, then it jumps to 1.5 Hive each. So get in early while it's still inexpensive! You can find DUO for sale here:

Nice! Nothing wrong with doubling your investment! You must have hit the casinos hard back in the day to have so many of these pieces!

I've bought most of these on eBay or at pawn shops over the years. I've never been much of a slots player, they aren't called one armed bandits for nothing! I usually stick to black jack!

Black Jack scares me. People are too unforgiving at the tables. I prefer craps, but even more so those bubble craps games that look like the old Trouble board game. Then you can just sit and play and nobody is all in your crap about it.

I've never played those, I've seen them but I guess they didn't catch my attention since I don't play craps much. I like black jack because 90 percent of the time I walk away with a lot more than I started with, but there's always those 10 percent unlucky streaks... Casinos weren't built by losing money! lol

My wife was playing Black Jack once and the guy sitting next to her was like "you took my card". I'm guessing because she hit when she should have stood. I don't know. The guy was all in her face though and from that point on neither of us have any desire to play Black Jack at a table. Too many jerks to ruin it.

Some guys are just assholes. If someone like that is at at table I just move. They get pissed at people for hitting when the odds say to stand, but at times it's better to take the risk. Sounds like he was a drunk idiot...

Congratulations on your latest renewal. I haven't always considered the ration that goes back to LEO, but 9$ extra per month, not much, but at least 10$ is gotten back. I'll check how many posts I can get curated.

I've woken up rested for the first time since school started. Nice way to start the day! Usually when I end the day with back pain (like yesterday) and need to take the heavy meds for once, I don't wake up very rested but today I did. Today I will stay away from lifting stuff though, so the sorting has to wait a few more days lol..

That's great that you finally got some good sleep! Hopefully you won't need any more heavy meds for the day. Be careful while lifting, but by now I'm sure you've already done it!

Haha, No I didn't because I was like these boxes can wait a bit longer .. I didn't feel like ending the day with pain again, especially not after waking up so clear of mind :)

How are you doing?
