Halloween Edition 🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️

Welcome back to Three Tune Tuesday once again. This year we have the luck that it falls on Halloween, spooky! Thanks to @ablaze for starting and sponsoring the event. To be honest the first thing that came to mind is I could fill the whole thing up with Alice Cooper, but that would be way too easy...

So instead I decided to go with some rock classics. I thought we could start off with a little heavy metal from a band that formed in London, England. Iron Maiden has been a prolific band that really first had success once they added front man Bruce Dickinson in 1982 for their album "The Number Of The Beast". It has sold almost 20 million copies worldwide, not too shabby. The song today will be the title track from that album: The Number Of The Beast. Sounds spooky doesn't it?

Next up I couldn't leave out AC/DC. What kind of Halloween edition would be complete without them? These guys have been writing music and touring the world for the better part of forty plus years. This is song I know you've all heard and loved over the years. Here's a live performance of the classic: Highway To Hell.

In the 1980's come Halloween there was always one concert event in Los Angeles that was always sold out. The Oingo Boingo Halloween concert was a yearly event until the band's front man Danny Elfman left the band to concentrate on his career in film soundtracks. He wrote soundtracks for The Simpsons, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas (singing as Jack Skellington), Men in Black, Doctor Strange into the Multiverse of Madness... The list of huge films is almost endless. He's one of the most sought after film soundtrack composers in the world. Every year he performs Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas concert singing as Jack Skellington around Halloween in Los Angeles. Last year even featured Billie Eilish!

But back in the 80's this was a classic Halloween staple, "Dead Man's Party".
