Movie Review: Jigarthanda DoubleX: A Riveting Tale of Crime, Deception, and Redemption.
Hello movie lovers, it's another great day. Today I will be sharing the review of another lovely movie that I downloaded yesterday, and it is titled Jigarthanda DoubleX. Sometimes, my love for Indian movies just goes up, even for the ones I've watched before. We all know Indian movies have this fiction, which we totally know is untrue, but despite that, we still love it the way it is, and I feel this time there are more improvements in that area of their acting.
Actually, I haven't seen this movie before, and it wasn't suggested to me by anyone. I was just bored, and I went into my list of movies for the week to see which one I would watch, and I found this one so attractive to watch that I decided to download it. As I started to watch, I found out that this movie would be interesting from the way it was started because I felt the suspense in it right from the start.
About The Movie.
The people of Kanakal suffered a lot of traumas at the hands of Shetland, and the people who reside in this land were tortured by the policemen who were transferred into their town for investigations about who has been killing the elephants in their town, and a policeman died in the process. They got a new DPO, whom they thought would save them from the issues they were having, but instead he made things worse for them by torturing them and beating them till death.
Shettani happens to be invincible to the policemen, and the ruthless policemen get aggravated by this because the crime rate was going up and they were unable to yet apprehend the culprit. The people of kanakal thought within themselves that getting a good police officer was enough for them to live in their own town in peace, but they never knew they needed more than a police officer to save them from the hands of the policemen and shettani.
Who was going to save the people of kanakal from the atrocities happening in their town now? Kirubai Arokiyaraj is a sub-inspector of police in Madras, the Madras city of the Tamil Nadu state of India. Who just got a posting order and will be going for the training and later getting a uniform of the SI after his training has been successful.
In his quest to find a solution to the things happening in the city, he became a fake film director, which he was not and he was working with the great Shettani, whose plan was to make sure he ended his life. When he knew this, all his plans were to get hold of shettani, but will this end well for him?
Aside from the fact that the movie is a new release, I love approximately everything about the movie. Both the cinematography aspect, the scenes in the movie, and the storytelling all sank into my brain. Most especially, the soundtrack, which warns when it will get intense, makes me prepared for what is coming ahead.
What I love about the movie
The movie touched on most aspects that will get your mind attracted while you watch, and I also love the way it was acted. I never knew Shettani wasn't the one who had been helping them in kanakal town until the very end of the movie, so I was very concerned to know how the movie ended.
What I despise about the movie
I don't like the fact that they made the movie a bit of a lie at some point, especially when the elephants were haunted in the forest. We know an elephant is a slow animal, so why will it now make a man face a lot of issues before killing it? Also, the way bullets were dodged like stones amazes me and it shouldn't have been done that way at all.
The movie was directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Some actors in this movie are Raghava Lawrence as Alliyus Caesar, S.J. Suryah as Kirubakaran, Shine Tom Chacko as Jeyakodi, and many others.
Rating: I would rate this movie 8 out of 10.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this movie to those who value Indian movies and also love fiction. The acting in this movie is very lovely, and the story-telling is top-notch. I decided to share this review so that you will be able to decide if you will watch it or not. But trust me, this movie is worth your time and will make you feel relaxed. This movie is absolutely a 3-hour movie, and trust me, watching a 3-hour movie to the end without being tired makes the movie worth it. You should give this a try today and have some amazing moments with the movie.
I know very little about Indian cinema, in my area it is difficult to get good subtitles. Thanks for sharing dear @the-lead.
Ojalá pudieras. De nada hermano.
