Roman Reigns Didn't Meet Jacob Fatu

They did the right thing by not booking Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at SummerSlam. Let's say Roman Reigns, the face of WWE, returned at SummerSlam out of nowhere, then you have Jacob Fatu, the Samoan Werewolf, who is now an official member of The Bloodline meet. If those two monsters were to have been pitted at that point in time against each other, it would have damaged Jacob's budding stature within the storyline.

By keeping Jacob on the outside with an injured leg, WWE did not allow for his presence to get diminished. The move further served to not bury him with Roman's return. It reminded me of times where characters were built up only to get ravaged out of nowhere. In this instance, WWE didn't make that mistake with Jacob Fatu.

Roman Reigns has officially returned to SmackDown, and this is very huge. WWE ratings is already to the roof. Many are on the edge of their seats as far as how he's going to interact with this new Bloodline, since he is a babyface now. Well, at this point we have different vibes and storylines.

There might be new rivalries or even new alliances forming. It kind of reminds me of how The Rock came back to shake his things up with WWE, bringing new storylines into the picture. Perhaps when Fatu returns, The Rock might have to comeback to help Roman defeat Solo.

WWE separated Roman and Jacob at SummerSlam because they wanted to save the stars of both characters. This would provide an opportunity for the characters to further grow without losing their impetus.
