Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un pequeño resumen de un día que, a simple vista, podría parecer cotidiano, pero que se convirtió en una hermosa oportunidad para expresarme a través de la moda y la fotografía. Recientemente, me tomé un tiempo para mí misma, para disfrutar de un día lleno de creatividad y autoexpresión, y el resultado fueron unas fotos que capturan no solo mi apariencia, sino también la esencia de ese momento.
Today I want to share with you a little summary of a day that, at first glance, might seem everyday, but became a beautiful opportunity to express myself through fashion and photography. Recently, I took some time for myself, to enjoy a day full of creativity and self-expression, and the result was photos that capture not only my appearance, but also the essence of that moment.
Ese día, elegí un conjunto marrón, un color que recientenente me ha gustado por su calidez y elegancia. El marrón me hace sentir conectada con la tierra, y creo que refleja una parte de mi personalidad: auténtica y sencilla. Mi atuendo no era ostentoso, pero tenía ese toque especial que solo algunas prendas logran transmitir. La sencillez fue mi aliada perfecta, ayudándome a resaltar lo mejor de mí sin necesidad de exagerar.
On that day, I chose a brown outfit, a colour I've recently grown to love for its warmth and elegance. Brown makes me feel connected to the earth, and I think it reflects a part of my personality: authentic and simple. My outfit was not ostentatious, but it had that special touch that only a few garments can convey. Simplicity was my perfect ally, helping me to bring out the best in myself without overdoing it.
Hablando de sencillez, mi maquillaje ese día fue ligero, un poco de base, un toque de rubor y un labial nude que complementaba a la perfección mis rasgos. A veces, menos es más, y me encanta explorar esa filosofía en mis rutinas de belleza. Sentí que al mantenerlo simple, podía dejar que mi personalidad brillara aún más. No hay nada como saber que estás viendo tu mejor versión sin dejar de sentirte cómoda y fiel a ti misma.
Speaking of simplicity, my make-up that day was light, a little foundation, a touch of blush and a nude lipstick that complemented my features perfectly. Sometimes, less is more, and I love exploring that philosophy in my beauty routines. I felt that by keeping it simple, I could let my personality shine through even more. There's nothing like knowing you're looking your best while still feeling comfortable and true to yourself.
Mientras posaba frente al espejo y experimentaba con distintos ángulos, no pude resistir la tentación de tomar algunos selfies. Aquellos momentos eran casi un juego, un rincón de sinceridad donde podía capturar mi esencia en diferentes expresiones y miradas. En cada foto, sentí cómo la cámara lograba inmortalizar no solo mi apariencia, sino también mi estado de ánimo. Hay algo liberador en jugar con el espejo, como si cada reflejo me contara una historia distinta.
While posing in front of the mirror and experimenting with different angles, I couldn't resist the temptation to take some selfies. Those moments were almost a game, a corner of sincerity where I could capture my essence in different expressions and looks. In each photo, I felt how the camera managed to immortalise not only my appearance, but also my mood. There is something liberating about playing with the mirror, as if each reflection tells me a different story.

En algunas imágenes, se pueden ver mis zarcillos, esos pequeños pero significativos toques de estilo que siempre amo usar. Son accesorios que me hacen sentir especial y que pueden transformar un atuendo sencillo en algo realmente interesante. Elegí unos que me parecieron interesantes. Los zarcillos brillantes se convirtieron en el elemento focal de varias fotografías, desdibujando la línea entre el accesorio y la obra de arte que adoramos llevar. Cada pieza de joyería tiene su carácter, sus curvas y su historia. Para mí, los zarcillos que elegí ese día tienen un simbolismo especial, y al llevarlos, sentía que me conectaba con algo más grande.
In some of the images, you can see my earrings, those small but meaningful touches of style that I always love to wear. They are accessories that make me feel special and can transform a simple outfit into something really interesting. I chose a few that I thought were interesting. The sparkly tendrils became the focal element of several photographs, blurring the line between accessory and the artwork we love to wear. Every piece of jewellery has its character, its curves and its story. For me, the earrings I chose that day have a special symbolism, and by wearing them, I felt like I was connecting to something bigger.
A través de mis selfies y fotos en el espejo, descubrí no solo una forma de mostrarme al mundo, sino también una oportunidad para reflexionar sobre quién soy y cómo me veo. La fotografía tiene esa capacidad mágica: puede capturar momentos cortos y transformarlos en recuerdos permanentes. Cada imagen es un recuerdo lleno de emociones, de momentos que dan vida a nuestro ser y que en algún momento realmente será lo único que conservaremos aparte de recuerdos.
Through my selfies and mirror photos, I discovered not only a way to show myself to the world, but also an opportunity to reflect on who I am and how I see myself. Photography has that magical ability: it can capture short moments and transform them into permanent memories. Each image is a memory full of emotions, of moments that give life to our being and that at some point will really be the only thing we will keep apart from memories.
El día avanzó y decidí compartir algunas de estas fotos en mis redes sociales, acompañándolas de reflexiones sobre la importancia del autocuidado y la autoaceptación. En un mundo donde la comparación puede ser abrumadora, quise transmitir un mensaje claro: está bien ser tú misma, celebrar tus imperfecciones y lucir lo que te haga sentir bien. La vida es demasiado corta para que no expresemos quiénes somos realmente.
The day progressed and I decided to share some of these photos on my social media, accompanying them with reflections on the importance of self-care and self-acceptance. In a world where comparison can be overwhelming, I wanted to convey a clear message: it's okay to be yourself, celebrate your imperfections and wear what makes you feel good. Life is too short for us not to express who we really are.
Al final del día, mientras revisaba las fotos, sentí una inmensa gratitud por la oportunidad de explorar mi creatividad y expresar mi estilo personal. Siempre que tengo la oportunidad (no muchas veces) comento al respecto de que con la práctica tomándonos fotos, mirándonos al espejo conocemos muy bien nuestro cuerpo y como nos vemos. Incluso, llegamos a darnos cuenta que ciertas poses o ángulos nos favorecen y está genial aprenderlos.
At the end of the day, as I reviewed the photos, I felt immense gratitude for the opportunity to explore my creativity and express my personal style. Whenever I have the opportunity (not many times) I comment on the fact that with practice taking photos, looking in the mirror, we get to know our bodies and how we look. We even come to realise that certain poses or angles suit us and it's great to learn them.
Con cada foto que comparto, espero inspirar a otros a abrazar su autenticidad y a encontrar alegría en los pequeños detalles de la vida diaria. Después de todo, cada día es una nueva página en nuestra historia personal, y es nuestro privilegio llenarla de momentos que reflejen nuestra esencia más genuina. ¡Espero que disfruten de este vistazo a mi día especial tanto como yo disfruté vivirlo!
