The Philosophy of Light - Monomad

As I passed by a house, I noticed a lamp with a uniquely designed rain cover. The lamp's cover was effective in shielding it from the rain. There are numerous philosophical meanings embedded in a simple lamp.

A lamp is not just a source of illumination or light in the night. It is also a symbol of courage and hope. Outdoor lamps illuminate the darkness of the night, providing light amidst the obscurity. This symbol serves as a guiding beacon for those navigating through the darkness of the night.

As a symbol of courage, we can learn from the lamp that even in the darkest of nights, it continues to shine. The lamp persists in radiance amid various challenges and difficulties in life.

What's more crucial is that a lamp teaches us to remain a source of light in the midst of darkness, even when storms and tempests assail; offering direction and hope, especially to oneself and others. Often, we witness individuals losing their way due to life's pressures, and from the philosophy of the lamp, we can become a guiding light for them.

These are the lamp philosophies I often share with my students while teaching in the classroom. I am sharing these lamp photos here as my participation in the daily #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes. I hope you enjoy them!
