Private Homestay "Jalan Kita Ujung Taris"

On January 10, 2024, a vacation trip with my friends began. Although the plan was to do it at the end of the year, it was finally realized at the beginning of the year in January. There were 10 of us and our destination was the beautiful lake district of Central Aceh, Takengon.

We had booked an inn that offered privacy and alluring natural beauty, located on Jalan Takengon Bintang, Mendale, Kebayakan Sub-district, Aceh Tengah District, under the name "Jalan Kita Ujung Taris" . The inn has a main building with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms directly on the edge of Lake Lut Tawar. The rooms on the upper floor were particularly attractive as they directly faced the lake, so we could enjoy the stunning view from the window.

When we arrived in the evening, we were warmly welcomed by the innkeeper with the region's specialty Arabica coffee. The cool weather made the meal very heartwarming. After dinner, I went straight to the bedroom I'd chosen upstairs and was mesmerized by the beauty of the lake spread out before my eyes.

The next morning, I woke up to a pleasant surprise. The beautiful view of the lake mesmerized me as soon as I opened my eyes. At the "Jalan Kita Ujung Taris" lodge, the spacious courtyard directly borders the lake, so some friends chose to spend the night in tents by the lake. The cool weather made it a pleasant experience.

We spent the following days enjoying the beauty of the lake by using the kayaks provided at the lodge. We spent most of the day exploring the lake, mesmerized by its stunning beauty. Time seemed to fly by, and before we knew it, we had been there for four days as per our original plan.

When it was time to go home, we felt reluctant to leave this mesmerizing place. The beauty of Lut Tawar Lake had left a deep impression on us, and we all hoped to return someday to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature again.

Morning dawned softly in Takengon, and from the terrace of the upper room at Jalan Kita Ujung Taris inn, the view of Lake Lut Tawar offered an unforgettable wonder. Sunlight begins to shine on the lake, creating an enchanting sparkle on the surface of the tranquil water.

From the corner of the upstairs one-room bedroom at Jalan Kita Ujung Taris inn, you will be presented with a stunning view. A comfortable bed sits at the center of the room, but what really steals the show is the small glass window overlooking Lut Tawar Lake.

As the sun begins to shine on the lake in the morning, natural light gently enters the room, giving it a warm and pleasant aura. From that small window, you can see an unparalleled view: the clean calm water of the lake, perhaps a few fishing boats anchored at the edge, as well as the green trees that frame the shoreline.

The gentle sound of waves breaking by the lake can be faintly heard, creating a calm and soothing atmosphere. Lying in bed, you can feel the peace and tranquility of the natural beauty unfolding outside your window.

This moment is special, as you feel as if you are directly connected to the nature around you. Each sunrise or dazzling sunset will provide a different view, but all have the same appeal: the natural and unforgettable beauty of Lake Lut Tawar, Takengon.
