En ocasiones es bueno salir de la rutina como decimos coloquialmente y salir a comprar algo que nos apetezca para escapar de la abrumadora cocina; aunque bueno en casa como ya saben no soy justamente yo quien prepara la comida.
Sometimes it is good to get out of the routine as we say colloquially and go out to buy something that we want to escape from the overwhelming kitchen; although at home as you know I am not exactly the one who prepares the food.
El dĂa sábado pasado, mi esposo y yo decidimos salir a comprar comida ya preparada y entre las opciones que tenĂamos era: pollo a la broaster o arroz chino, lo cual nos decidimos por el pollo frito y decidimos hacer parada en Don Pollito, ubicado en la avenida Perimetral, al lado de la reconocida PanaderĂa Virgen del Fátima, acá en mi ciudad.
Last Saturday, my husband and I decided to go out to buy ready-made food and among the options we had was: chicken broaster or Chinese rice, which we decided for the fried chicken and decided to stop at Don Pollito, located on Perimetral Avenue, next to the renowned Virgen del Fatima Bakery, here in my city.
Una vez que llegamos al lugar, pedimos la carta para verificar la variedad de combos que tenĂan y elegimos el Combo de pollo especial de 15$.
Once we arrived at the place, we asked for the menu to check the variety of combos they had and chose the $15 Chicken Combo Special.
Aproveche el tiempo de espera para tomarnos unas fotos y también pedimos 2 espumosas, ya que nuestro pedido era para disfrutar en casa con nuestras hijas; la espera no duró mucho supongo que era por la poca afluencia de clientes en el local.
I took advantage of the waiting time to take some pictures and we also ordered 2 sparkling wines, since our order was to enjoy at home with our daughters; the wait did not last long I guess it was due to the small number of customers in the place.
Una vez que nos trajeron nuestro pedido, nos fuimos a casa para disfrutar de aquel platillo, que cabe resaltar es primera vez que comĂamos de ese lugar y si son muy buenos los pollos; se los recomiendo.
Once they brought us our order, we went home to enjoy that dish, which is the first time we had eaten at that place and the chickens are very good; I recommend them.
*NOTA* Me disculpan que no les haya mostrado claramente fotos de la fachada del local, debido a que habĂa mucha gente en las afueras del mismo y no me permitieron tomar la foto sin que ellos aparecieran en las mismas.
