No Flaming Orchids on ttt 155
Tuesday for me on Hive means three tune tuesday...
If you know me then you know I love to take my inspiration from somewhere.
Well this week is no different!
Today the inspiration comes from shopping ... yes fluffing shopping, actually my posts the last couple of days seem to be from shopping experiences.
So a wee tribute to Orchids
It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

Today we are going to have fun with some Orchid songs!
The orchids you see in the lead picture were two that I got reduced at the weekend. Obviously they were past their sell by date and reduced down to £4.50 a plant, so of course they both came home with me. I tell you they are so much cheaper than flowers and last a fluffing lot longer!
But I was thinking of the Flaming Orchids ... were my ears deceiving me, was there a band called The Flaming Orchids?
Away to Alexa I went.....
Chet Atkins - Wild Orchids
So the first pick I got from Alexa was not a band but a song Wild Orchids from Chet Atkins and this was back in the 60s...
Some nice guitar play too.
But where were the flaming orchids ....
Back to Alexa and she came back with something familiar
In fact back to 1997 and ...
Wild Orchid - Talk To Me
This was vaguely familiar and I did a bit of digging on good old wikipedia...
They were a female group from Los Angeles I think and pretty much around in the 90s and 00s...
Tried to do a lot of TV work as hosts etc....
Does anyone remember them?
We finish with one that I don't recognise.
Wild Orchid - Supernatural
It's only natural that I don't I mean if I did then that would be Supernatural!
Anyway that is it for me ... I have to go off now and get someone to Talk To Me!

I guess I don't remember the group wild orchid which is kind of funny because as a young man back in the 90's and 00's I think I would have found them quite memorable! :)

Nice! Some older stuff and a little newer. I didn't realize "Fergie" was with another band before Black Eyed Peas, that was interesting. I had never heard of Wild Orchid, probably because it was never my style of music and much of the time they were around I was in Spanish speaking countries. Cool TTT!

Wild Orchid is not really a band I remember though!
I recognized her in the Wild Orchid videos! I don't think I had ever heard of them before today.

Wasn't there in the 60's but I always feels that vibrations from grannies when such songs are put up. This days music is more of noise making. Do you think we are missing out? Thanks for the music uplaod. I'll play them and hear hear the vibes
Music is funny, I think most of this millenium is noise making lol Of course there are some great bands and musicians that play music but yeah I prefer last millenium.
