It's Saturday and today is a week after lpud or Leo Power Up Day.

Talking of lpud, were you a winner of one of the prizes?

I actually lied!

Yes fluff me, I lied because I did win a prize on Saturday last week, and infact the Saturday before that, and in fact every Saturday this year.

BUT ... Wait ... there's more ... I won a prize every single day of this year!

How fluffing cool is that?

Okay, let me explain!

Who has heard of the saying Money Breeds Money or Money Makes Money?

Did you know that these actually stem from the original quote "You have to spend money to make money” and is credited to the Roman playwright Titus Maccius Plautus from the 200s–100s BC.

Apparently not much is known about Plautus except that he was a Roman comic dramatist and also a failed businessman.

So was he right?

Or was that his excuse because his business failed?

What I do know is that we are extremely lucky because we are on the blockchain called Hive

We are able to create and post content at no financial cost to ourselves, and in theory be rewarded from the rewards pool

So we can in theory make some money, in our particular case a cryptocurrency called Hive in the form of Hive Back Dollars and also Hive Power

However, our esteemed playwright is correct in the spend money to make money.

Coming back to our hive accounts.

Did you know that the HP we get from our post/comment rewards increases at an APR of approximately 2.97%?

(Provided that we keep it staked of course!)

Noice!

But do you know what is even MOAR noice than an APR of 2.97%?

Answer .... An APR of 20% yes 20 fluffing percent!

Remember that I said we get rewarded in HP and HBD..

The Hive witnesses set that rate, and currently they have set it to 20%

Now then, talking about witness, some of you have asked me about witnesses, so to use the words from leoglossary and the term witness is what they say

Witness is a role for the people who are chosen by community (delegate trust) to support platform and run consensus protocol to ensure security and validity of transactions. These are the block producers. A witness is responsible for signing and validating blocks for the Hive blockchain.

So my recommendation to anyone is to take advantage of the juicy 20% APR that is currently on offer and send some of your HBD to savings...

The Table for Week 29

Let's get down and dirty and review these figures!

Primary Goals

☑️ I added 123 HP for the week, that is the third week in a row I hit 100HP. That's huge! Anything over 100HP in a week is a helluva result for me! However this week has not been a productive week on Hive, and as a result I expect much less in the way of rewards next week, but well we never know!

☑️ I added 19 LP for the week No LPUD this week, BUT that does not stop me powering up $LEO whenever I can.

My SAVINGS results ... I am chuffed with them!

☑️ These are already flying and I have saved 390 Hive and 406 HBD!!

☑️ Mrs T has asked why is it not at 500 dollars yet! I mean what the fluff lady?

☑️ Powering Up 1 Hive daily, I started this on December 1st and do it as part of my Saturday Savers Club daily routine when I am hitting that save button. I have now changed this to 2 Hive powered up daily.

Secondary Goals

My Layer 2 tokens have been subject to some wheeling and dealing!

#sorrynotsorry I am getting rid of SPI and putting the proceeds into a new token called DBOND. I managed to buy 100 at launch and hopefully will grab another 100 at the public sale tomorrow.

So DBOND is my new token goal with 300 to replace the now deleted SPI. In theory I am still keeping it in the SPI familythough...

MY quest to become a SIM millionaire is hotting up! I managed to acquire/buy 179k SIM tokens or 17.9% of my goal this week!

My rating, I give myself a 9/10!

☑️ Three weeks in a row with over 100 HP gained!

☑️ My savings are rocking

☑️ Awesome progress on my quest to be a SIM millionaire!
