How are you, As always, I wish you all a good afternoon dear friends. So, our summer time is over and there is heavy rain these days.Potatoes are very common in the village where I live these days. So it's a bit cheaper. I thought that these potatoes should be prepared in a way that they can be kept for a long time. That's why I made a potato fry. This can be eaten for a long time, maybe even for a month.This potato fry is slightly sweet. Anyway, let's see how to make this delicious fried and tempered potato with onion.
Ingredients;
- 250g of potatoes
- 150g of b onions
- A handful of curry leaves
- A few chopped pandan leaves
- About eight cloves of sliced garlic
- Four green chilli pods, cut in half
- One and half teaspoons of sugar
- A teaspoon of salt powder
- A teaspoon of chilli pieces
- Half teaspoon of chilli powder
- Half teaspoon of pepper powder
- 150ml of oil
The method of making;
Cut the peeled potatoes into 1 inch square pieces.
Wash and clean the big onion and cut it very thinly.
Add water and boil the potatoes for about 5 minutes on medium flame.
Boiled potatoes fry in medium heat about six minutes.
Then fry curry leaves and pandan leaves in 30 seconds.
Fry garlic in low flame about a minute.
Fry the chopped onions in the same way until golden.
Fry chopped green chillies 10 seconds.
Put a tablespoon of the remaining oil back into the pan and add the pepper powder while keeping the heat on low.
Add chilli powder and chilli pieces.
Now add sugar to it.
Then add salt powder.
Next add fried garlic, green chillies and fried curry leaves.
Add fried potatoes.
At the end, add the fried onions and stir everything well again and remove from the stove.
You can actually add potato fries to an existing meal at home. Special here is very fragrant and very tasty. It also has a sweet taste. I think especially since it is a special potato dish that we can keep and eat, even if I am busy most of the time, I can prepare and keep it.
