Let's make sweet and delicious 'sweet hoppers' to make tea time more and more delicious.
Hello my loving Hiveans,
How are you,First of all I wish a good night to all my dear friends. I came to meet you in two days. So I believe that every day you spend is spent very happily and with the goals of being very successful. We are having very heavy, non-stop rain these days. That's why art, which I love, gets more space these days. Rainy time makes me feel hungry, doesn't it? Today I brought you a very wonderful dish. That is sweet hopper "pani appa". Sweet hoppers can be made very easily and quickly. Let's see how to make it.
Ingredients;
- A cup of wheat flour
- Half cup of semolina
- Four tablespoons of sugar
- Three tablespoons of warm water
- A teaspoon of yeast
- Three crushed cardamom pods
- One tablespoon of butter
- Baking powder is half a teaspoon
- 300 ml lukewarm milk
The method of making;
First put a pan on the stove and add two tablespoons of sugar to this pan and caramelize it on low heat. Do not stir with a spoon.
When the caramel bubbles, add three tablespoons of hot water and stir.
Stir for about a minute on low flame and let it cool down.
Now take another bowl and add one cup of wheat flour and half cup of semolina.
Now add the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, a teaspoon of yeast,half teaspoon of baking powder and 1 tablespoon of butter.
Then stir well.
Now add cardamom.
Now add 150 ml of warm milk and stir the mixture.
Now add in the cooled caramel mixture.
Now add 150 ml of warm milk and stir this mixture well for about a minute.
Now cover with a lid and leave for about 10 minutes.
After about ten minutes, stir this mixture again for about two minutes.
Now spread oil or butter in the pan used to make hoppers.
Now take 1/4 cup of the mixture and pour it into the pan.
Now reduce the heat on the stove and use the same cup to make a circle of the mixture.
Cover with the lid.
After about three minutes, the surface of the hopper has got the form of small holes.
Now fold it into a half circle from one side and remove it from the stove.
This sweet hoppers (pani appa) is really delicious. But according to the amount of sugar I have used, this is not very sweet. But if you want it sweeter, you can add more sugar to it as you like. I call this as a very delicious dish that you can make anytime you want without any boredom. Especially I think that we can make and eat this not only while drinking tea but also as a snack. I especially think that children will also like this very much. So you too, make this delicious sweet hoppers (pani appa) for your family tea party and enjoy it.
