72HOURS OF BEING INACTIVE
It all started on Sunday evening, with headache, cold and catarrh, thinking it was just as a result of stress and hoping that after using drug, I will be fine the next day and back to my work but I guess I was wrong after all because my body was saying otherwise. The next morning came and it all got worse, I couldn’t do anything and found it hard to even walk from my bed to the bathroom. I struggled hard to pick my phone and texted my boss that I won’t be coming to work that very day.
It was still like a joke to me, saying all I needed was rest. The headache became severe and the cold, it was on a higher level with a highest degree of hotness coming from my body. You know what that means right. After I realized it was not something I could handle, I placed a call through to my younger bro to send me the contact of the nurse that came to treat him some months back. I called the number and it was not reachable. Oops!
Thanks to @temibot who was with me and stood by me during all the drama. Luckily for me, I got a sister who helped me call her nurse to come treat me. She came, and went to get all the injections and drip she’s going to set for me. I hope our country could do better in the area of attending to patients. I was having serious body pain and the way she tied the tourniquet so tight on my arm and slapping my arm all in the name of looking for vein. I so much felt the pain. Unfortunately, where she inserted the canular needle was a wrong place and had to remove it and locate the vein somewhere else. Gosh! Do I have to go through this pain? I thought.
The drip was set and I was given the injection. Don’t even ask about drugs, I’m not a fan of it, so I insisted on not taking any. I guessed I was sedated after the injection because everything after that, all I ever wanted was just to sleep. When everyone left the room, I was far gone in the dreamland. I woke up the next day, not feeling much lively like my real sef tho, still with the feeling of slight headache and weakness. Yet, I still couldn’t operate my phone despite the amount of data I was having but I couldn’t even on my data not to talk of being active on social media. I missed logging in to hive and engaging on posts too.
Though, I was planning on taking 24hours off social media but never planned for 72hrs off on sick bed. I guessed I should have listen to my health when it has been giving me signs and not try to form strong girl. Hahaha!
One major thing I’ve learnt these few days is to always pay attention to ourselves r health and not just place work as our priority over our health. As the sayings that “Health is Wealth.”
I’m getting back on my feet now and hope I fully regain my strength and be as active as ever before. Once again @temibot thanks for being a true friend and looking after me. Much love! And to everyone here, I miss you all😘

Yeah sure. I’ve learnt a lesson now. Thanks boss @starstrings01
Yes, he is. It’s good he was around at that time.
😊😊😊
So sorry about this, I wish you a quick recovery dear..
Thanks ma’am🙏🏽
You are welcome
Health is definitely a treasure. If we have it, we can do all the other things.🏁
It's horrible! When the nurse can't find the vein for us to administer treatment, it's an unpleasant experience. They have to try several times, change hands, arms, etc. Some have had to put it in the foot!😵
We sincerely hope you recover soon and return to your normal activities.🌸
A kiss @temmyttee 😍
Indeed!
This is just so true. I remember my mum telling that when I was a baby and was sick, they had to barb my hair to pass injection through my head when they couldn’t get vein anywhere of the body.
I hope so too. Thank you so much @hive-102879 🥰
Dear @temmyttee, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.

Your support would be really helpful and you could make a difference.
Thank you!
