Cloaked in White

Taking an early morning walk in the bushes while it's still foggy and the leaves are wet is magical, but finding sprouting mushrooms while taking that walk is a gift from nature that adds a touch of enchantment to the serene atmosphere, making the experience even more magical.

I was out early this morning for a therapeutic walk in the bushes. The morning was foggy and cold, which, in my opinion, was perfect. My week is always hectic, so taking a walk once in a while during the weekend in the bushes and having wet leaves brushing against my skin as I walk through the path heals me of any mental clutter.

As I walked through the path, I saw that there were some logs which had started to rot, and on one of these logs sat some pretty edible mushrooms.

Cloaked in white apparel, they looked amazing in their glory. I took a few shots of them from different angles, but my camera didn't do much justice to how pretty these fungi are.

It was delightful to see them perched elegantly on the log, and I felt the universe wanted me to have them, so I took them back home with me. I am yet to make a mouth-watering mushroom soup out of them. Hehehe.

Anyway, the walk was worth it after all. I felt a sense of peace and tranquility.
