La educación de nuestros hijos [ ESP– ENG ]
Hola queridos amigos, en este post quiero tratar un tema que me preocupa hace días y es sobre la calidad de educación que están recibiendo nuestros hijos, pero sobre todo la educación que reciben hoy en día, y me voy a basar principalmente en la educación de mi país, que es la que yo manejo y conozco porque realmente no puedo opinar sobre la educación de otros países.

A veces hablo con mi esposo de la educación que recibíamos antes y era tan diferente, como se dice de la vieja escuela, antes sacar un 18, 19 o 20 puntos era bastante difícil, y realmente había que ser bueno, hoy me sorprende que en un aula de clase de 35 alumnos a nivel de bachillerato aproximadamente 15 aprueban con 20 y 19 todas las asignaturas, y los demás con 16 y 17 y a veces me preguntaba ¿será que los jóvenes de hoy son más inteligentes? Pero la respuesta me decepciono un poco.
Siempre hablo con mi hijo sobre sus tareas y los deberes que tiene que hacer para el colegio, y lo que más me sorprende es que los exámenes casi siempre son en grupos de hasta cinco chicos, de hecho creo que mi hijo no ha vuelto a tener un examen individual, son todos en grupo y hay mucha permisividad con los deberes escolares, ni hablar de los cortes de pelo y atuendos que ya son permitidos en el liceo.
Sometimes I talk to my husband about the education we used to receive before and it was so different, as they say from the old school, before getting an 18, 19 or 20 points was quite difficult, and you really had to be good, today I am surprised that in a classroom of 35 students at high school level approximately 15 pass with 20 and 19 in all subjects, and the rest with 16 and 17 and sometimes I wondered, could it be that today's young people are more intelligent? But the answer disappointed me a bit.
I always talk to my son about his homework and the homework he has to do for school, and what surprises me most is that the exams are almost always in groups of up to five boys, in fact I don't think my son has ever had an individual exam again, they are all in groups and there is a lot of permissiveness with homework, not to mention the haircuts and attire that are now allowed in high school.
A veces me alegro de que mi hijo ya este casi en la recta final, porque desde mi punto de vista la educación, los valores y el respeto se ha desmejorado en niveles considerables en las instituciones educativas, y con esto no quiero culpar a la escuela, sé que ellos tienen que trabajar bajo nuevas directrices, pero en realidad la situación es alarmante.
Sé que el mundo está cambiando y que no podemos pretender que nuestros hijos tengan la misma educación que tuvimos nosotros, donde teníamos que investigar en libros, hacer resúmenes y copiar mucho, se supone que ahora todo es más fácil, en el sentido de que tenemos todo a la mano, pero esa facilidad debería contribuir a que seamos mejores personas y tengamos un mejor aprendizaje, no al revés.
Sometimes I am glad that my son is almost on the home stretch, because from my point of view education, values and respect have deteriorated considerably in educational institutions, and I don't want to blame the school, I know that they have to work under new guidelines but in reality the situation is alarming.
I know that the world is changing and that we cannot expect our children to have the same education that we had, where we had to research in books, make summaries and copy a lot, everything is supposed to be easier now, in the sense that we have everything at hand, but that ease should contribute to us being better people and having better learning, not the other way around.
Hablemos un poco de lectura y escritura, las llamadas áreas problema en las instituciones, les cuento que a mi hijo le compré 6 cuadernos cuando empezó el año escolar, mi intención era a mitad de curso volver a comprar cuadernos, pero ya está terminando el tercer lapso y puedo afirmar que en todas las asignaturas les sobran muchas hojas, a excepción de física, química y matemáticas, en el resto ni siquiera escriben la fecha y no puedo decir que utilizan la tecnología porque en el colegio no permiten dispositivos tecnológicos como tabletas o teléfonos por todo este bullying.
Hablemos de la letra, los jóvenes tienen una ortografía horrible, incluido mi hijo, porque apenas escriben en las instituciones y si hablamos de la lectura, la gran mayoría de los que pasaron las materias con 20 putos no saben leer bien, todo esto prende mis alarmas, para poder reforzar la ortografía y la caligrafía en casa, en cuanto a lectura si estamos bien.
Let's talk a bit about reading and writing, the so-called problem areas in the institutions, I tell you that I bought my son 6 notebooks when he started the school year, my intention was to buy notebooks again halfway through the course, but he is already finishing the third term and I can affirm that in all subjects they have many pages left over, except for physics, chemistry and maths, in the rest they don't even write the date and I can't say that they use technology because in school they don't allow technological devices such as tablets or phones because of all this bullying.
Let's talk about handwriting, young people have horrible spelling, including my son, because they barely write in the institutions and if we talk about reading, the vast majority of those who passed their subjects with 20 fucks do not know how to read well, all this sets off my alarms, to be able to reinforce spelling and handwriting at home, in terms of reading we are fine.
Con todo esto, uno como padre se decepciona un poco y cuando nuestros hijos se preguntan que van a estudiar y ven la calidad de los profesionales que se están graduando últimamente, a veces uno no sabe cómo animarlos, pues los jóvenes en su mayoría afirman que hasta les provoca dejar de estudiar.
Considero que los jóvenes vislumbran un futuro profesional no muy bueno y son inquietudes que me expresan tanto mi hijo como sus compañeros, para ellos la única opción medio buena que les queda es medicina y no todos sienten inclinación por esta rama, del resto carreras como derecho, educación, ingeniería, administración entre otras han pasado al olvido.
With all this, one as a parent is a little disappointed and when our children ask themselves what they are going to study and see the quality of the professionals who are graduating lately, sometimes one does not know how to encourage them, because most of the young people say that it even makes them want to stop studying.
I think that the young people have a not very good professional future and these are concerns that both my son and his classmates express to me, for them the only half good option they have left is medicine and not all of them feel inclined towards this branch, the rest careers such as law, education, engineering, administration among others have been forgotten.
Hace días pasé por la ULA y ya no es ni la sombra de la universidad que era cuando yo estudie, hoy en día las clases son semipresenciales, y aunque hay muchos cupos, no hay quien quiera estudiar las carreras que la universidad ofrece, ante todo esto no queda otra que apoyar a nuestros chamos y ayudarlos a decidir su futuro.
A few days ago I went to the ULA and it is not even the shadow of the university it was when I studied, nowadays the classes are semi-presential, and although there are many places, there is no one who wants to study the careers that the university offers, in the face of all this there is no other choice but to support our kids and help them decide their future.

Realmente el nivel de la educación en nuestro país ha bajado y eso se ve desde la educación básica. Es lamentable que los niños pierdan casi la mitad del año escolar, que no reciban clases todos los días de la semana como era costumbre, solo por mencionar dos aspectos.
Son muchos los jóvenes que conozco que al graduarse de bachiller se olvidan de estudiar una carrera universitaria por el anhelo de trabajar para ayudar a sufragar los gastos del hogar...
Si así es amiga la educación se ha desmejorado mucho y esto afecta la motivacion de nuestros chamos
