BE BLUES! Ao ni Nare --- Another Awe-inspiring soccer manga! :)
I'm still on my manga streak because it's much easier for me to read manga than watch anime whenever I'm busy. I'll be back with anime watching soon, though... especially that most anime I bookmarked from the previous season have ended. I'll find time!!! haha xD
Anyway, this time I'm going to introduce yet another sports manga. It's called BE BLUES! Ao ni Nare~
All photos are screenshots from the manga.
It's a soccer manga which revolves around the life of Ichijou Ryuu. When he was in elementary, he was considered a soccer genius. He has high level soccer sense which allows him to think clearly and execute whatever it is he's planned.
He has his future all planned out meticulously, but somehow fate wasn't very cooperative. One day on their way home, he got into an accident after saving his best friend. His plans were ruined... forget about soccer, the doctor even said it might be difficult for him to do his daily tasks.
However, Ryuu was determined to continue. He faced the arduous rehabilitation for two years missing out on soccer during his junior high school years. He focused on his recovery so he may be ready to play the sport again in high school.
Will he be able to play the way he used to? Will he be back on track with his previous plans in the future? Are you curious? Then feel free to read! :) It's going to be a long read, though as it has 489 chapters in total... but it's worth it!
As you may know, I might be biased since I love sports manga and anime the most, but I really enjoyed reading this one. It's so inspiring! The characters are all very interesting. There were some eccentric characters as well as some with really amusing character development. Others annoyingly stayed the same, but this situation has its charm as well.
I think the only thing I didn't really like about this one is the "harem". hahah I don't really need any romance in sports anime or manga... well, maybe except for MAJOR since I just love "Goro and Shimizu" so much. OK.. a little bit is acceptable, but harem? hahahah --- this is just me being biased, sorry harem lovers!
The games were amazing and breathtaking... but I just wished they added more chapters at the end. The ending was good in its own way, but it could have been better. Oh well, I still enjoyed, so it's all good.
Also, if this were to be animated, I'd surely watch it as well. :) Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/

Hello sensei, how are you doing, long time.
I don't really like sport anime and mangas like that except some like Blue Lock, Kuroko and others, but as you said, if you can enjoy it, I think I'll give it a try.
Anyways, I've been very busy lately (Final year is really stressful) , and during that time, I've finished some legendary manhwas and mangas like Solo leveling, beginning after the end, and others in my little free time.
I think I'll have to do like you, I've not been posting , thanks for this inspiration.
Hey!! It's been ages, indeed. :)
You must like sports anime which are quite unrealistic, so I guess you'd enjoy Inazuma Eleven or Eyeshield21... :)
I guess they were quite helpful for you to relieve your stress from your studies. But, keep going! As you've said, it's your final year, so give it your best.
Take care and see you around! ^^
Thanks, I'll try my best and thanks for the recommendation.
I'll come back stronger, I'll soon graduate by the way, we're finishing next month.
That's awesome!!! Keep at it and congratulations in advance! (^^,)/
Thanks
