Arata Primal: The New Primitive --- short but packed! ^^
(Edited)
Earlier this week, I stumbled upon this intriguing manga from Manga Plus. I was just browsing some short completed series that I could read to unwind as my schedule has been really busy. I needed a saving grace from all the life's stresses! lol
Let's talk about Arata Primal: The New Primitive.
NOTE: The photos used in this post are screenshots from the manga.
ARATA MINAMOTO, our cute and innocent MC was born with a condition that somehow isolated him from people. Every time he gets near any technology like smartphones, TV, cars, and so on, they spontaneously crash or stop working. So he and his dad live in the mountains where they don't have any electricity or access to any kind of technology.
Although it was earlier announced, people all over the world experience indefinite blackout. It was alright at first because they somehow prepared for it, but struggles arose later on.
Despite everyone's struggles, one person has been spending life the way it has always been. And this time, he's more than willing to help. He also wanted to take the opportunity to make connections because there's no gadgets or devices at risk. However, it wasn't that simple.
The blackout was no ordinary black out. There's something more to it... And the answer...
The manga was quite short with just four volumes or 35 chapters in total that I was able to finish reading it in one sitting. I think the exciting and intriguing scenes made it easier for me to continue reading.
It somehow reminded me of Dr. Stone, but without the scientific explanations and experiments. It was more on survival skills in the wild which was pretty refreshing to read in its own way. I found myself enjoying it. It would be a great material for an animated film.
In addition, I really like how detailed the art style and how smooth the storyline is. And despite how short the story is, there were relevant character developments that occurred, so it's automatically a major plus for me.
So if you're looking for something different to read to either enjoy or simply pass the time, I recommend you read this manga.
Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/

Right? I love how detailed the art of this manga is. And yep... I love both anime and manga... 😎✨
The plot is so funny! I can't imagine someone being the cause of tech breaking 😂
The author must be having fun thinking of this unique plot 😅
I hope they make an anime from this!
Right? The MC is quite unique in that sense. Given its length, a movie would be perfect. :D

I have several manga pending, so I don't think I'll add more to read soon, but I love the way they drew that kind of forest, it looks too good and complex, I love this kind of drawing.
