The Witcher 3 Saga: The Big Four Is No More!
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of the Witcher 3 Saga we've started gaining in on Dandelion's trail. We're not quite there yet and things always seem to go of-course but when we fall back on it things seem to be going faster than usual.
After managing to speak to all of Dandelion's ladies spread out all over Novigrad me and Zoltan came down upon a girl named Priscilla. A girl that Dandelion fancied a lot more than all his other wenches.
We found Priscilla at the KingFisher establishment giving the performance of a lifetime. After her performance she urged us to rather talk in private as a lot of people know her and well more know me and seeing us together they will certainly connect the dots.
Then there was the debacle of Djikstra's stolen treasure and all the evidence point to it being Dandelion and Ciri working together. At the very least it was a successful heist.
But that also has to be resolved.
The Cave By The River, Contract:Shrieker
This is something that I've put off for quite a while now and today is the day I am going to tie off this loose end of mine.
Ever since I arrived in Velen I've wanted to finish on this contract.
It was a Shrieker that hid away in it's lair, not coming out for anything. Before I could challenge it I had to drive it out from it's lair. Not a hard task persay but one that required a few ingredient in order for me to make a bomb that would scare and flush it out of the nest it is brooding in.
Luring it out of the lair wasn't a problem at all, it didn't even flee after that it flew circling me for a bit and then it came tumbling down at me aggressively.
Now since I've dealt with quite a few of these Shrieker's before I knew exactly how to handle this one. They always defended their front but their rear always seem to be exposed and for big creature who move all too slow that proved to be a problem for the beast.
Before I knew it the fight was over.
The contract issuer was located at Crow's Perch and I never thought to find myself back here, at-least not after The Bloody Baron's death.
I found the contract issuer sitting outside of his little hut and I was left with two choices, take the hard earned coin and be on my way or let him keep the coin to help raise the orphan he took in after his father died trying to slay the Shrieker.
I decided the coin can be put to more use of he kept it, I can always grab an extra contract and make up for the lost coin.
A Long Lost Letter For None Other Than They White Wolf.
I recently visit a bookshop in Novigrad and well to my astonishment the owner of the little bookshop knew exactly who I was.
Strange isn't it?
Well his story goes as follows, a few years back someone gave him a book or a letter and told him that a Witcher will one day come by and ask for the book. Turns out he told me of it and I had no idea of it at all.
The owner told me to go through the shop and look for a book with a red cover, I found quite a few but I also found the one I was looking for.
What the letter stated is not of importance now, what I need to do is find whoever wrote the letter. It was someone I've met before yet I have no clue as to whom it might be.
On Whoreson Junior's Trail.
I decided to meet up with Cleaver. One of the underworld bosses, even though he wanted Whoreson dead and I wanted to speak with him alive first we still shared a common goal and that was to find him, I just had to get to him first then.
Cleaver has already done most of the work for me, I just had to pitch up at one of the two locations and meet up with his men.
Even The Children Are Rats These Days.
On my way down to Whoreson's casino I ran into a child that was crying out in the open. I asked him what was wrong and he muttered a few words and ran.
Naturally I decided to follow him and see what was going on.
Little did I know that he would be luring me into a trap, well if you can consider it a trap.
I was lured into a dark corner of an abandoned or less traveled alley way where four thugs waited for me. The grey git the child called me and ran behind the safety of the four thugs.
It must be that these thugs were on the lookout for me, little did they know how much wrath a Witcher can have.
I've not seen where the child ran off to after killing the four thugs.
Whoreson Junior's Casino Hideout.
By the time I arrived at Whoreson's casino hideout the Dwarves have already started killing his thugs off that was guarding the front entrance.
To me it seems that this will be an easy fight, they can't even fend off the Dwarves let alone an experienced Witcher!
The first bloak I engaged on was the dealer, if I had any wits on me and being the dealer I would have fled. But they were all pretty determined to stick around and most likely risk their pathetic lives for the bounty of killing a Witcher.
Yeah right!
To tell you the truth I was surprised I didn't burn down the whole building by the way I casted the Igni spell without a worry at all.
A thug deserves no clean death and especially not the cruel thugs of Whoreson Junior!
This Changes Everything.
I found this bloak tied up in Whoreson's casino hideout and what he told me was of far more value then any information I've come across thus far!
It would seem that according to this little fella Whoreson Junior made a deal with the Redanians. Now I wonder what Djikstra would say when hearing this?
Whoreson's ties certainly go far deeper than we first thought.
Before going any further I thought it best to have a chat with Djikstra first.
He wasn't all too happy to hear about how Whoreson Junior is working with Redania. In fact he said if that is the case Whoreson is in even bigger trouble than he thinks.
This part confused me a little since Djikstra has himself worked for Redania for quite a few years but it would seem they had a falling out and he doesn't have any ties with Redania anymore.
He casually mentioned that I do. A man named Vernon Roche.
I can see that I have somewhere to be now and I might need to talk to him before I pay Whoreson a visit.
It would seem that Vernon Roche does know about this Whoreson Junior but he has only heard of him and their connection is awfully more of a thread than a rope. They only share a common ally and that is Radovid.
Vernon Roche urged me to go with him when meeting his Redanian contact at the chess club.
Arriving at the chess club things seemed to be off almost as if something was wrong.
Well have you ever seen a Witcher along with a experienced battle commander turning away from a bad situation? No.
Entering the chess club we found no informant, rather we found no one except for a lone soul in the corner playing chess by himself. A lone soul wearing a crown.
Things can't be this easy!
I told Radovid that I was looking for a man he has invested in deeply and at first I thought that he wont just give me Whoreson Junior but he did.
He didn't even have to think about it, he gave me the location and after asking him why he would just give me Whoreson he just said the "Big Four Is No More."
I do think he might be in more need of a Witcher than a thug.
