The Journey Of A Thousand Adventures Starts In Hartenbos South Africa
Well Hello There Fellow Adventurers!
It's Been A Lovely Day!
Okay so it has been a couple of months since my last vacation story! The last few months were on the side of hectic and things just fell out of place a little, but now I am back and ready to finish up on this story over the next couple of weeks!
So usually when we go down to the seaside we pick a day or two where we mainly spent it at the beach and most of the time it's in Hartenbos! Why it does have the best beach available so I'd say it's the best option there is, the only downside being that it might be overcrowded, but then again the good things attract right!
It's a nice photo isn't it ey?
We Are Boring Like This!
So reading a book on the beach does not exactly sound like fun but we've got a weird taste for things and I like that to say the least! Meh book reading is something that has caught my attention over the last year or two and it's something I would take with me for a lot of years to come!
It's fair to say that I enjoyed a good three hour read on the beach that day!
A Beach To Behold!
So Hartenbos is more of a vacation resort town and isn't really limited to a beach alone! There's a great deal to do in this overly populated tourist attraction! A lot to do! But it's not actually a resort it's just a town and after the holiday season the town turns into nothing but a place for ghosts to rest!
Amazing stuff! Amazing Place!
The Wall Of Love And Tears!
What a thing to behold! I saw this fence with barely a lock on it a few years ago and not take a look at this! I think next year me and "The Betty" will have to add one of our own locks and lock in our love like that!
It's real nice to just stand there with the wind blowing against your face and to read all those love letters locked in love! I do wonder how many of them are still as deeply in love as they were when they locked it in!
I bet it might be fuller by the end of this year!
For The Love Of The Motor!
Now of-course there are folks out there with the same idea in their heads! Oh yeah why not bolt in some love for these machines we drive on a daily! Oh hell yeah, if I didn't have "The Betty" this would have been my first choice as well!
Now to find me a piston that comes out of a truck engine!
And Another One!
When I use to work at the seaside regularly I took photos from this deck on a daily! I remember back then they were busy revamping this entire place and back then my heart sort of died!
The place didn't need an upgrade, it had so much character already and character is gold. No need to diminish that! But as we know life to be, adapt and overcome!
Now this new deck sure as hell led to the capture of a lot of beautifull photos!
This one isn't as beautifull!
Rusted Up Directions!
Oh just lovely!
This could have looked so much cooler if it didn't have the toilet sign all shining in white! Laughs!
On a different note the rusted up look of it actually does kink my eye a little! I just had to get a picture of this, although I think the old wooden one of "Beacon Point" looked so much cooler but then again the colours of this one is what makes it nice!
A Beer And A Pizza!
Oh that's my old lie, especially after we've been busy for the entire day! It's more of an excuse to go out and eat something nice hey! Rather than going home and making something, besides the beer always tastes better when you are surrounded by people you don't really know, nor do you want to know them!
#introvert thoughts!
Laughs I took a picture of almost every beer I drank at the seaside and once I'm done with the entire story I might make a collage about all of the beer pictures! I think it might be looking real cool!
Nothing overboard of-course since it was close to dinner time anyways and the parents were already home brewing up a storm for the night so we didn't want to overfill our tummies with too much good food! Laughs!
A Pizza is always a winner though but I think we sat there for almost thirty minutes trying to pick one we might both like before we saw that we could split the pizza and both get what we want!
Yeah I paid for those leaves and I will eat them all up! Laughs!
What A Spotting!
Just something I thought looked real cool to stare at while I was enjoying the beer! That's all! It seems it saw me taking photos and decided to turn course towards me for a better pose!
Lels!
A Pleasantry For The Betty!
Well of-course yeah! A nice pleasantry at that! A bit expensive for what it is but then again it's not standard for what it is am I right? Besides it made The Betty real happy and seeing her happy makes me happy... So it's a win win win right?
Anyways! Off to have some more adventures before the years end!
Before I Go Some Cool Things I Spotted!
Spotted this cool little penguin at the bubbly tea? Bubble tea or something stall! Not sure what it is but it is quite enjoyable to say the least!
I spotted this bad boy roaming not far from the house where we stayed and by the looks of it it got scared when it saw me and decided to tail it out of there as fast as he could! Which was surprisingly fast for a turtle!
