Dang It!

Okay so I didn't plan on writing up another post so quickly in the rant and talk community but I felt it fitting since it is related to something I shared yesterday!

Now before I start I just want to get rid of this burning hole in my pocket! It's burning like real bad!
Yeah I'm sure most of you wont think this is a lot of money, really it actually isn't... It's just above a $100 for a nice Willard battery? Probably not that bad but converting it to my currency, heck it's a knocker my peeps!

I am somewhat confused though, How can a battery be almost half of what my monthly rent is? Like how the actual dang? Things aren't adding up anymore!

On a different note, The Betty needs an injector for her car... We got a price on that and it's R3600 at the agents... how can one injector almost come close to my rent of R4800? How do they work out these things?

I mean I could have saved about R300 for a Enertec or something of the sorts? But why? Why when I can add a few and get a REAL proper battery! I think I just love seeing a Willard in a car! Willards always tend to do the trick!

Getting Rid Of That Crap!

A bloody Dixon? I'll tell it true I never even knew Dixon existed until I bought this car! Laughs yeah! Has anyone else ever heard of this brand? Time to chuck it out!

Okay no I wont just chuck it yet! I am going to caravel it around in my trunk for a while because there might be a slight possibility of a wire shorting out on the body! It might be or might be that I am just a paranoid little shit! See being a technician I know this is very very very possible since I do drive a short stretch of gravel road twice a day and it is possible for a wire to have rubbed through and short out on the body, there for draining the battery slowly over time! That is a possibility!

Let's hope it isn't that! Because then I've got some wiring to find and crap where does one start! I do have an idea though! But still!

I didn't get a picture of the Willard inside the battery box, some people showed up and cut me off but she's all fitted and working nice so far but then again it's still fully charged hey! We shall see what happens on the morrow!

At-least it's one expense cut off and gone with!
