Well Hello There Fellow Gamers Of Hive

Now as I mentioned many times before my gaming posts are on the side of the slow. So over the weekends I'll try my best to get them out. But sometimes it can be a time consuming task, not the playing part xD that's easy.. the constructing it into a post can sometimes be a little effortsome (yeah I know that's not a word.)

Laughs Laughs.

Well my last Mass Effect 3 post was over two weeks ago.. That's like what? Time does indeed fly, not only when you're having fun but when you're having life by the looks of it. I don't want to get too much into life but I swear the older I get the faster time goes by. Am I the only one experiencing this? Perhaps a nice post about this in #reflections will do nicely with some answers.

In the last episode of the Mass Effect 3 series that I am sharing the war for Earth and the universe as a whole has begun. Things needed to happen and Shephard had to get off planet! You can check that episode out for a quick recap Earth's Invasion Has Begun: A Mass Effect Story

This episode will be filled with less action packed adventures and more of the thousands of cut scenes that add to the story line of Mass Effect so bear with me as we embark on this cinematic adventure.

I had to familiarize myself with the whole setup again.. how the quests work and all that so excuse the wandering around trying to figure things out.

As soon as I landed at the Citadel I was greeted by a reporter who shared some very good points as to why we would need her aboard the Normandy. so I decided to let Diana Allers aboard the famous Normandy as it should only boast support for Earth.

After speaking with Diana Allers I was left with two choices, see how Ashley Williams was holding up with her injuries or speak with the Council I decided that speaking with the Council first was of utmost importance so I did just that. No point in wasting time if the Reapers are going to end time itself.

Things at the Council meeting didn't go exactly as planned or in the favour of Earth at all. When I say that things are looking bad I mean it. With the Council worrying too much about their own planets Earth is being bombed and eradicated away by a wiping force, each day passing Earth loses more and more.

However the Council is willing to help after most of their spacial borders have been secured and ready for a fight, but in my honest opinion this must have already happened, the threat is bigger than they realize.

Even after revealing the blueprints that were lost by the Prothean's a device that could possibly end the reign of the Reapers once and for all. Well I say reign but they actually return every 50000 years to wipe all life from the universe, except for their own existence.

But this is still blueprints and it is missing a key part called and referred to only as the Catalyst Now where or what exactly that is, is yet unknown to us.

After the Citadel Council meeting Counselor Donnel Udina wished to speak with me privately in his office. A audience I would not likely miss, as it might be one offering aid, aid that is much needed.

This is where the Counselor Quentius met with us, offering a chance of help to find the Catalyst it might be that he knows where to get it. The only thing is, this would be a favour for a favour exercise and not one true of helping.

This is no doubt an opportunity I will gladly take.

Counselor Quentius wants us to rescue Turian Primarch on a planet that is currently under attack by the Reapers. On the planet Menae in the Trebia galaxy, which is a long way from where we are but .I'll be jumping on this since it might lead me to the Catalyst.

After the planning for the missions ahead was done and settled I had to visit Ashley Williams who'm was in intensive care in the Citadel medical facilities. The best there is, but even the best can't save someone from the grave.

I hope she has a quick recovery, we will need the likes of her on the Normandy sooner than we all realize.

We are finally back on the Normandy and ready to leave for the Trebia system. But before we set off for the missions ahead I want you all to meet Joker the infamous pilot of the Normandy he is both trusted and skilled in his position.

I am yet to find a better pilot than good old Joker!

One of the things I didn't know I missed from the Mass Effect series was this battle command centre. I remember back in the day how it gave me goosebumps... along with the fact that you were able to go anywhere in the universe at any time. Travel to planets where you've completed all the missions. It's one of those free roam games that still has a sort of directional story line but it's all based on your decisions throughout the game.

Notice the Normandy hovering over the table? Yeah I find that insanely cool to look at.

By the end of the game whether you made more alliances than you've broken but ultimately at the end of the game you yourself decided the strength of the forces you gathered so making the right alliances is very crucial in this story line!

Until the next episode where I will try and rescue Turian Primarch from the grip of the Reapers!
