The Hidden Garden Of Vigan, Ilocos Sur!

My plants make me happy just by looking at them. And happiness brings with it a quick mood enhancer. I need this right now with everything going on. They make me happy; that much is clear!

They are a fantastic diversion. I enjoy caring for and watering the plants daily because it is very therapeutic!

If you're a plant lover like me, this place is perfect!

During my visit to Vigan, Ilocos Sur, with my colleagues, I was so happy and blessed to visit one of the most touristic spots: the Hidden Garden.

On the fourth leg of our Calesa tour, our kutsero/tour guide took us from the Burnaby-makers to a place we had not been able to visit before: Hidden Garden.

The province of Ilocos Sur's Katipunan Street, Vigan City, is home to The Hidden Garden. It's a place of love and a meeting point for exquisite cuisine, history, and nature.

We step into a large interior that offers shade from the midday sun. This structure is the primary display for the products they sell. The decor showcases Filipino artistry, proficiency with locally available materials, and the rustic charm of the country's provinces.

At the entrance to the Hidden Garden, there were burnays of different sizes. The trail ends at a wooden building reminiscent of a Philippine province. Either coconut or hardwood tree trunks are used to make the posts.

The compound is home to various native and exotic plant species. Strolling along the paved walkway is the best way to enjoy any garden; the wooden bench encourages people to stop and take in the area, emulating the saying, "Take time to see the leaves."

There's a small clearing nearby. We saw that a calesa corpse was used to construct a covered bench. Beside it is a pocket garden with a small pond. The pond contained fish. Many coins are visible at the bottom of the pool; people usually toss a coin and make a wish.

After navigating the meandering path, we eventually reached the dining area and the Coffee Shop. It was a small space, but it was light. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We relished the food and the atmosphere.

I love plants, so The Hidden Graden was a great place. The surrounding plants astounded me.

Plants are more complex than at first glance. They brighten our lives simply by being in the same room as us, whether they are gathered on window sills, huddled in corners, or suspended from ceilings in hanging baskets. Studies show that having them around improves our ability to focus and manage stress. Additionally, they add therapeutic color and texture to otherwise lifeless indoor spaces.

The experience of visiting and meandering through this verdant location was utterly delightful. It was a gratifying walk to choose what I desired, far more thrilling than placing an internet order for plants.

On your way back from this fantastic trip, pick up some lovely souvenirs and delectable food!
