Teachers' In-Service Training: A Day of Professional Development and Education!
This is the fourth and final day of our teacher In-Service Training (INSET).
Teachers can continue to enhance their professional knowledge and skills throughout the educational process by participating in INSET, a practical and ongoing activity. INSET can take on multiple forms to accomplish various goals and bring about change in education.
January 25 was when our in-service training began, and today, January 30, was the last day. We have learned and gained much knowledge over the previous few days of our training, which will significantly aid our professional development.
This activity aims to ensure that the enhanced basic education program can fulfill the demand for qualified educators and school administrators. To this end, the Department of Education will conduct in-service training (INSET) on content and pedagogy in partnership with academic institutes and other organizations. Its goal is to retrain current DepEd teachers to fulfill the K -12 curriculum's performance and content standards.
In addition, INSET offers a range of exercises and activities tailored to the needs of educators as determined by the outcomes of their self-evaluations. It supports educators in developing their instructional strategies, managing the classroom, growing professionally, and enhancing their knowledge and abilities, all of which contribute to advancing student-centered learning. Good teachers produce good learners, as the saying goes.
An in-service program is a professional development intended to help teachers advance, develop, and grow. Coworkers can also use this as an opportunity to talk about their work with other peer group members. Speakers and trainers for an in-service program typically come from the same demographic as the people for whom the training is intended. As a result, the program offers participants the opportunity to share any knowledge that can be gained about professional and personal development with peers.
Throughout the four days of our training, we participated in various activities and experiences that enhanced our ability to develop learning strategies and tactics for different learners. Additionally, we get the honor of addressing some significant issues about professional development and education in front of our colleagues.
For us teachers, it was a great experience because it not only helped us grow as educators and enhance our teaching abilities, but it also allowed us to impart and share our ideas and knowledge about the key subjects.
Apart from the fact that we love sharing various foods we have enjoyed together, this is another experience that strengthens our bond and improves our relationship.
We are ecstatic to have learned new things and gained knowledge today.
Knowing gives you the ability to accomplish a lot of things. The fact that learning something new gives you power is one of the most important motivations to do so. With this newfound ability, you can make, mend, and repair anything in your house or that you own without the help of a third party. It's within your power to do it yourself!
Now, I will make the exciting decision to learn something new; there are a lot of interesting abilities and talents in the world. And it's a fun and satisfying process to find them rather than just focusing on the outcome.
