Hive Power Up Day... and Sensible January!

February Hive Power Up Day (#HivePUD) is here and though once again, being over 8,000 HP means I'm no longer eligible for the main Power Up Day prizes... I'm still taking part by powering up 100 Hive!

My Hive Activities and Sensible January
I've had what I like to think of as 'Sensible January'!
After being really sick with flu over Christmas and New Year I really just wanted to be healthy for the month and not feel pressure to do anything other than one or two really important things in life (perhaps that's another post coming soon?!)
Anyway - this approach seems to have helped me as even without that self pressure I have found the energy to post more regularly on Hive than I was doing towards the end of 2022. So my posting and engagement with everything on our beloved blockchain have been up generally.
I've been playing Rising Star pretty seriously too - not least to try to make progress in The real Rising Star game that is of course The Leader Board!

Notes:
- The numbers in brackets are the dollar equivalent according to LeoDex at the time I recorded that figure. This could make some interesting future comparisons of the FIAT value of my holdings in those tokens.
Goals for 2023
In 2022 I had the following goals:
- Increase my Hive Power to 10,000HP
- Increase my followers to 250
- Weekly earnings of 100 Hive
I met the first two comfortably and the last one turned out to be very volatile and difficult to track (but I was happy with where I was at with it).
So what about 2023?
Well currently due to my decision not to put pressure on myself during January er....
I HAVE NO HIVE GOALS!
Honestly I'm relishing this no pressure mindset (and possibly am actually doing better with my Hive activities because of it due to focusing on the enjoyable parts and ending up doing more). Now it's Feb and I'm still thinking about what's next.
Of course I would for sure say that I have the goal of continuing my Hive journey - which I'm very much doing - and I may well add goals in as they make sense.
Watch this space - I'm still figuring it out!

You're doing really well. That's a lot of BRO! Does it earn for you? I just don't get into every coin that's going, but I have a few that keep accumulating passively. I just have most of my funds in HP.

Yes! Bro is currently paying me liquid hive dividends of about 3-8 Hive per week and I also get upvotes typically from 3-6 Hive Rewards on my more lengthy posts. I think mostly it's more of a longer term investment coin though - and it's stood the test of time way better than most through all the market turbulence.
I've kept some Hive liquid as I was thinking about doing the HBD <-> Hive trades that I see some people doing on the internal market when one of them pumps. I've only ever actually done this once or twice though as I'm not checking the market constantly! Maybe I'm more of a passive investor...

I love that you are doing the "no pressure" approach in your every day living. It's so easy to put pressure on ourselves to go, go, go & accomplish everything to the point of our own detriment. I do much better when I am in the flow of things. Easier said than done but it is definitely worth it! :)
Loving the LGN too! You have quite a bit more than I do ha ha BUT I am slowly accumulating & bought a little more today. I am super excited to see how everything unfolds. It's definitely a solid project for sure.
