MONOMAD CHALLENGE : Studio Portraiture - Daphne 5 Photo (En-My)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

Hello and greeting everyone in the community. I hope all of you are doing great. How was the weather there in your area? It was raining cats and dogs here for the past few days. Luckily the electricity and water still available without any problem. So today I wanted to share another portraiture that I took three days before just after our meeting with all the company staff. I took this photo of Daphne, a model from our company and also a staff helping in managing the models catwalk training and photoshoot. During this time I went to the studio and I thought it was a catwalk training day, I waited for them to finished their makeup and do some catwalk training but suddenly after they finished with all their makeup, they went to the shooting area and asked me to start the photo session. I was still not prepared and I went with a very basic lighting setup with a solid black color background. I took the Godox 400W mount it with the parabolic 70cm soft box for the main light and a 400W Godox mounted with a 30cm by 90cm rectangle softbox diffused with a rectangle grid on it. The setup was very simple. The main lighting was placed on my right side and angled to the model in 45 degree. The second light, for rim lighting it was placed on my left side parallel to the background towards the model, Daphne. I took some several test shoot before asking her to free pose. The images below is the result during the photo session.

Nasib baik bekalan elektrik dan air masih ada tanpa sebarang masalah. Jadi hari ini saya ingin berkongsi satu lagi potret yang saya ambil tiga hari sebelum ini selepas pertemuan kami dengan semua kakitangan syarikat. Saya mengambil gambar Daphne, seorang model dari syarikat kami dan juga seorang kakitangan yang membantu dalam menguruskan latihan catwalk model dan sesi pemotretan. Pada masa ini saya pergi ke studio dan saya fikir ia adalah hari latihan catwalk, saya menunggu mereka untuk menyelesaikan solek mereka dan melakukan beberapa latihan catwalk tetapi tiba-tiba selepas mereka selesai dengan semua solek mereka, mereka pergi ke kawasan penggambaran dan bertanya kepada saya untuk memulakan sesi bergambar. Saya masih tidak bersedia dan saya menggunakan persediaan pencahayaan yang sangat asas dengan latar belakang warna hitam pejal. Saya mengambil Godox 400W lekapkannya dengan kotak lembut 70sm parabola untuk lampu utama dan 400W Godox yang dipasang dengan kotak lembut segi empat tepat 30sm x 90sm yang disebarkan dengan grid segi empat tepat di atasnya. Persediaan adalah sangat mudah. Lampu utama diletakkan di sebelah kanan saya dan bersudut ke model dalam 45 darjah. Lampu kedua, untuk pencahayaan rim ia diletakkan di sebelah kiri saya selari dengan latar belakang ke arah model, Daphne. Saya mengambil beberapa sesi penggambaran ujian sebelum memintanya bergambar bebas. Gambar di bawah adalah hasil semasa sesi bergambar.

This shoot was taken while Daphne standing and posing in front of the camera. She wears a white dress which a little bit reflective. It makes it a little bit hard to balance the light just so the white dress was not overexposed while trying to keep the face in well exposed condition. This was a challenge on every photo session shoot. If the model have very light skin with a white dress, the lighting has to be set properly so that you can balance out the lighting that going to land on the model's skin and the light that will land on the white dress and bounce back a lot of light compared to the skin.

Penggambaran ini diambil semasa Daphne berdiri dan bergambar di hadapan kamera. Dia memakai gaun putih yang sedikit mencerminkan. Ia menyukarkan sedikit untuk mengimbangi cahaya supaya pakaian putih itu tidak terlalu terdedah semasa cuba mengekalkan wajah dalam keadaan terdedah dengan baik. Ini merupakan cabaran pada setiap sesi pemotretan. Jika model mempunyai kulit yang sangat terang dengan gaun putih, pencahayaan perlu ditetapkan dengan betul supaya anda dapat mengimbangi pencahayaan yang akan mendarat pada kulit model dan cahaya yang akan mendarat pada gaun putih dan melantun semula dengan banyak. cahaya berbanding kulit.

After some shoot while her standing. I asked her to sit and do a free pose as her liking. Some of the pose I had to adjust because of the lighting not so well balanced on her. This one is on of the best photo of her while she is siting on a stool.

Selepas beberapa menembak semasa dia berdiri. Saya memintanya untuk duduk dan melakukan pose bebas mengikut kesukaannya. Beberapa pose saya terpaksa sesuaikan kerana pencahayaan yang tidak begitu seimbang padanya. Ini adalah salah satu foto terbaiknya semasa dia duduk di atas bangku.

This close up shoot was done with only one lighting. I went to the set and disable the rim lighting. This shoot was taken only with the Godox 400W mounted with the 70cm parabolik soft box. This photo is another one of my favorite shoot of her during the photo session.

Penggambaran jarak dekat ini dilakukan dengan hanya satu pencahayaan. Saya pergi ke set dan melumpuhkan pencahayaan rim. Penggambaran ini hanya diambil dengan Godox 400W yang dipasang dengan kotak lembut parabolik 70cm. Foto ini adalah satu lagi gambar kegemaran saya semasa sesi bergambar.

I asked her to pose with her hand slightly pushing her face to the back and I took this photo just before she took her hand off her head. This was a good shoot in my opinion.

Saya memintanya bergambar dengan tangannya sedikit menolak mukanya ke belakang dan saya mengambil gambar ini sebelum dia melepaskan tangannya dari kepalanya. Ini adalah penggambaran yang bagus pada pendapat saya.

And this was her headshoot close up photo. I really liked the 85mm lens compression. It made the face contour s much more natural compared when you used below 50mm lens which will really effect the face appearance in a photo. With this last photo I end my post for today. Dan ini adalah gambar penutup kepala dia. Saya sangat menyukai pemampatan kanta 85mm. Ia menjadikan kontur muka lebih semula jadi berbanding apabila anda menggunakan kanta di bawah 50mm yang benar-benar akan mempengaruhi penampilan wajah dalam foto.
