MONOMAD CHALLENGE : Saber Cosplay - 6 Photos (En-My)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

Hello and greeting everyone. How are you all today? I hope that all of you are (will) have a great weekend. Its another black and white portraiture for today's post. Today I wanted to share an outdoor portraiture. This was a cosplayer portraiture for Saber that being cos by Tey. Tey is a veteran cosplayer at my hometown. She had been cosplaying more than eight years and she already made a name for herself locally here and the neighboring country. All the props was being built by herself. Her dress was bought online and modified by herself to match the anime character.

This photoshoot was done during the Otafuse event that being held on one of the mall here. Me and my friend brought her outside for a photo session just before lunch time. Luckily the weather that time was cloudy with a little bit of sunrays only. The photo session took place on the rooftop parking lot of the mall. It was on the weekend and but luckily the parking lot had more space left for us to use as a shooting area. There was another photographer during that time. They were taking photos of another cosplayer too.

Salam sejahtera dan salam sejahtera semua. Apa khabar semua hari ini? Saya harap anda semua (akan) mempunyai hujung minggu yang hebat. Satu lagi potret hitam putih untuk siaran hari ini. Hari ini saya ingin berkongsi potret luar. Ini adalah potret cosplayer untuk Saber yang dicipta oleh Tey. Tey ialah seorang cosplayer veteran di kampung halaman saya. Dia telah bercosplay lebih daripada lapan tahun dan dia sudah mencipta nama untuk dirinya sendiri di sini dan negara jiran. Semua alat peraga sedang dibina sendiri. Pakaiannya dibeli secara dalam talian dan diubah suai sendiri untuk dipadankan dengan watak anime.

Penggambaran ini dilakukan semasa acara Otafuse yang diadakan di salah sebuah pusat membeli-belah di sini. Saya dan rakan saya membawanya keluar untuk sesi bergambar sejurus sebelum waktu makan tengah hari. Nasib baik cuaca masa tu mendung dengan sedikit sinaran matahari sahaja. Sesi bergambar itu berlangsung di tempat letak kereta atas bumbung pusat beli-belah itu. Ia adalah pada hujung minggu dan tetapi nasib baik tempat letak kereta mempunyai lebih banyak ruang untuk kami gunakan sebagai kawasan menembak. Terdapat seorang lagi jurugambar pada masa itu. Mereka juga mengambil gambar cosplayer lain.

This is Tey with her cosplay costume - Saber with her prop sword. The details on the sword was good. The flower on the chest and the neck band was great. She had really made the details as close as possible like the anime character. Her expression was great too. She really made it like the anime character, a serious person without any smile.

Ini Tey dengan kostum cosplaynya - Saber dengan pedang propnya. Butiran pada pedang itu bagus. Bunga di dada dan jalur leher sangat bagus. Dia benar-benar membuat butiran sedekat mungkin seperti watak anime. Ekspresinya juga hebat. Dia benar-benar membuatnya seperti watak anime, seorang yang serius tanpa sebarang senyuman.

I had to take several photo before I get a correct exposure on this photo. This was a backlight photo composition which one of my most difficult to deal with. But since I have the idea in mind to make her like shining with a bright light like in the anime, I had to try and took some of this kind of photo of her. The result was not bad, I had some good expression with a good composition in my opinion.

Saya terpaksa mengambil beberapa gambar sebelum saya mendapat pendedahan yang betul pada foto ini. Ini adalah gubahan foto lampu latar yang merupakan salah satu yang paling sukar saya tangani. Tetapi oleh kerana saya mempunyai idea untuk menjadikannya seperti bersinar dengan cahaya terang seperti dalam anime, saya terpaksa mencuba dan mengambil beberapa foto jenis ini. Hasilnya tidak buruk, saya mempunyai ekspresi yang baik dengan komposisi yang baik pada pendapat saya.

This photo was taken while I was above a half wall divider on the parking area. I was trying to get different angle for the shoot, rather than low angle shoot with wide lens, I took the chance to get a higher perspective shoot. I was glad that I took the chance and climb on the half wall divider for this shoot. It turns out great for me plus the ambient lighting was great.

Foto ini diambil semasa saya berada di atas pembahagi separuh dinding di kawasan parkir. Saya cuba mendapatkan sudut yang berbeza untuk penggambaran, dan bukannya penggambaran sudut rendah dengan kanta lebar, saya mengambil peluang untuk mendapatkan penggambaran perspektif yang lebih tinggi. Saya gembira kerana saya mengambil peluang dan memanjat pembahagi dinding separuh untuk penggambaran ini. Ia ternyata bagus untuk saya ditambah dengan pencahayaan ambien yang hebat.

This one is one of my favorite shoot. A half body close up shoot. You can see the details of the flower on her head and the neck band. The accessories made was really good. With her expression like this, its really hard to take my eyes out of her. Good pose and great lightings.

Ini adalah salah satu penggambaran kegemaran saya. Tangkapan dekat separuh badan. Anda boleh melihat butiran bunga di kepala dan jalur lehernya. Aksesori yang dibuat sangat bagus. Dengan riak wajahnya seperti ini, sukar untuk aku mengalihkan pandanganku darinya. Pose yang baik dan pencahayaan yang hebat.

This last photo was my most favorite during the shoot. A close up shoot with a great expression. She really had great acting skill and I really enjoyed the photo session with her. I would like to have another photo session with her in the future. Maybe on a different anime character or with a casual attire will be just great. Foto terakhir ini adalah yang paling saya suka semasa penggambaran. Penggambaran dekat dengan ekspresi yang hebat. Dia benar-benar mempunyai kemahiran lakonan yang hebat dan saya sangat menikmati sesi bergambar dengannya. Saya ingin mengadakan satu lagi sesi bergambar dengannya pada masa akan datang. Mungkin pada watak anime yang berbeza atau dengan pakaian kasual akan menjadi hebat. Dan dengan gambar terakhir ini saya akan menamatkan catatan saya untuk hari ini.
