La evolución en la historia del tatuaje, ha pasado de estar en dos polos completamente opuestos, desde ser reprobado por la sociedad a ser aceptado por algunos grupos que lo ven como una manera de expresar el arte y llevarlo consigo a cualquier espacio.

El mundo de la moda, no ha sido la excepción. Muchos modelos (hombres y mujeres) se han realizado tatuajes, que en algunos casos, tapan con maquillaje de ser necesario, aunque dependiendo del cliente, puede que decidan incluirlo como parte del atuendo.

Y es que la versatilidad de un buen tatuaje, habla por si misma, siempre y cuando sea un diseño bien pensado. No en vano, han sido utilizados como parte de la creación de un personaje, inclusive en los dibujos animados.

The evolution in the history of the tattoo has gone from being at two completely opposite poles, from being disapproved of by society to being accepted by some groups who see it as a way of expressing art and taking it with them to any space.

The fashion world has been no exception. Many models (men and women) have tattoos, which in some cases are covered up with make-up if necessary, although depending on the client, they may decide to include it as part of their outfit.

The versatility of a good tattoo speaks for itself, as long as it is a well thought out design. Not in vain, they have been used as part of the creation of a character, even in cartoons.

También es innegable el aporte que le da a ciertos personajes de ficción, al ser parte del metamensaje sobre su personalidad o elementos que hacen visible alguna cualidad. Por ejemplo, los tatuajes de Max Cady no son solo ornamentales, nos da indicios sobre las intenciones de este personaje en la película Cabo de Miedo.

It is also undeniable the contribution it gives to certain fictional characters, being part of the metamessage about their personality or elements that make some quality visible. For example, Max Cady's tattoos are not only ornamental, they give us clues about the character's intentions in the film Cape Fear.

Y en las pasarelas y las múltiples alfombras rojas tampoco han de faltar actores, actrices, cantantes y modelos que luzcan sus tatuajes como parte de su outfit, por lo que aunque todavía existen grupos que se resisten a aceptarlo, el tatuaje como arte ya es una realidad para las sociedades occidentales.

Y tal como pasa con las modas en general, no solo las ropas, zapatos o diseñadores entran en tendencias cada cierto tiempo. Con los tatuajes también suceden, quizás sin mucha publicidad pagada, pero si entre quienes buscan realizarlos en algún momento en particular.

Por ejemplo, el símbolo del amor y paz en los años 70, además de ser minimalista, expresaba el sentir de muchos de quienes decidieron ponerlo en algún lugar de su cuerpo. Lo mismo ha ocurrido entre los amantes del ánime, quienes han colocado en tinta sobre piel alguno o varios de sus personajes favoritos.

Para esta iniciativa, queremos ahondar un poco sobre esos tatuajes que han marcado tendencia dentro de la moda, o que se hayan puesto de moda en algún momento de la historia y que nos des tu opinión con respecto a los espacios en los que consideras sería ideal realizarlos.

And on the catwalks and the many red carpets, actors, actresses, singers and models are not lacking in tattoos as part of their outfits, so although there are still groups who are reluctant to accept it, tattooing as art is already a reality for Western societies.

And as with fashions in general, it is not only clothes, shoes or designers that become trends from time to time. With tattoos it also happens, perhaps without much paid publicity, but among those who seek to get them at a particular time.

For example, the symbol of love and peace in the 70s, besides being minimalist, expressed the feelings of many of those who decided to put it somewhere on their body. The same has happened among anime lovers, who have placed one or more of their favourite characters in ink on their skin.
