the Harbor walk New Bedford
Good morning today I will share some photos on the Harbor walk here in New Bedford
its a nice walk, a total 2.6-mile out-and-back along it and one I often walk
I will share a little about it after this first photo
its an easy walk as it is flat well apart from getting up on to it so starting with the sntrance to the walk

The New Bedford Harbor Walk sits atop the New Bedford Hurricane Barrier on East Rodney French Boulevard. The hurricane barrier is said to be the longest in the world – and now, locals can enjoy its spectacular panorama while walking, jogging, and biking along this paved, elevated path
It is quite popular I often see people walking on this and the other similar one here the Cove walk, not so many in the early morning when I first get there but after the sun rises more people come out walking and riding
The Harbor Walk is the best place to see New Bedford’s unique mix of natural and man-made wonders. From up here, the views seem endless: look for landmarks like East Beach, Fort Taber, Butler Flats Lighthouse, Fort Phoenix, Palmers Island, the Port of New Bedford, and the sparkling waters of Buzzards Bay. Ferries and fishing vessels steam in and out of the harbor, passing through the narrow opening in the barrier just beyond the harbor walk’s end.

Great views! Beautiful views of the sea !
My camera, an old Sony NEX 5, is dying, and I see that you have the A7iv with superb photos. Would you recommend it?
Ohh yes for sure I am very happy with it
Runners light trails turned out to be a fascinating photo.
Amazing photography 🤩🤩
That is cool. I like that cities build things like this so people can get out in nature and really enjoy what the town has to offer. I noticed this past weekend they are continuing a walking path further up the coast of Lake Huron here in Michigan. It's going to be pretty cool when it is fininshed.
54 second exposure! Good tripod :D
The color sky is so beautiful with the dark blue of the beach, this makes for such a fascinating view. I think it would be calm and relaxing to walk around there. It’s just a safe zone, I love the vibe !
Nice capturing 👍🏻
I love that morning blue... That was a smart move putting a walkway on top of a hurricane wall, it's beautiful. You sure nailed the timing right that morning, it looks great!
Really cool to see different photos of the same place with different times of day and weather 👍
