Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

For this weeks post I am sharing a few more shots from walks with my Sony 90mm Macro lens, have taken it out a few times of recent and been playing around with it trying different settings and been having fun with it.
And starting with this shot of a bee doing what bee's do on a wild flower alongside a trail I was walking

I like taking shots of flowers and such out where there growing, and with macro shots any breeze can move the plant so its not as easy as it would be if I picked a few of the flowers or plant features and brought them home and set them up on a table under lights to get better super detailed macro shots, I have thought about doing that and playing around with water drops and refractions, but honestly it is not my thing I like getting out walking in fresh air and getting whatever i get.

Sure for each shot I share I have a few that turned out blurry or focus not quite locked where i wanted it, but I think the ones I share here are OK
I didn't know till I just did a google image search but apparently this next one is a chamomile flower, I had heard of chamomile and its benefits but didn't know this was the plant

Chamomile is promoted for sleeplessness, anxiety, and gastrointestinal conditions such as upset stomach, gas, and diarrhea. It is also used topically for skin conditions and for mouth sores resulting from cancer treatment.

This is operantly called Tansy and is a member of the Asty Family of flowers

We call it (the flower in the pic 1) as daisy. I guess they're similar but different name :) Daisy is a flowering plant that is popularly used to make tea. We believe that they have many different health benefits. 🙂

Stunning flowers and captures @tattoodjay. Thanks for sharing :)

It is indeed a #beautifulsunday! Enjoy it! Great macro shots. I have a macro lens but don't take it out as often as I should. Nice bee captures. I never tire of bee photos 🙂

The flower looks not big enough for the bee to do the work easily.

Hi @tattoodjay, lovely photographs, especially that busy bee, now in autumn there are not many flowers, some of our in garden finished blooming, only lavender still has plenty of flowers and this is only place where we can see bees.
My favourite picture among your photos is Chamomile the combination of yellow, green and white colours makes its magic blend :)
