Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Happy New year

Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

Let me wish you all a Happy New year and may 2023 be a great year for us all.

2022 wasn't the year I had hoped for for myself and Lulu with her Fractured Shoulder, but thankfully she is doing a little better now, so I am hopeful this year is going to be a better year for us.

New years Resolutions

Do you make New Years Resolutions?

About 10 Years ago I realized most of the resolutions I made, I never actually kept, so that year I made one New years resolution that I stuck to, which was

Never to make another New years resolution, and I stuck to that not only that year but ever since

Instead if during the year I feel something I need to change, I don't put it off till the New year I make the change there and then.

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

For todays post I am sharing a few images of nature which I find both sublime and beautiful, starting with this lovely bright flower

not that there are many flowers out at the moment most of the nature has been hit by winter and are dried out and looking a bit sad but I still find beauty in them.

Another little plant I came across, I don't know the names of these plants or any of them in this post, I could make up names for them such as snow star flowers for this next one, but I am terrible at coming up for titles of posts let alone for plants.

Another one i found quite beautiful

and finishing off with one I do know the name of a dandelion

And that’s all folks

Seems like a great time to post some summer color :) ... And of course when it's hot, we will crave pictures of snow 😂

Ohh yes indeed, I guess when or if we get some snow I should get some winter shots for both sharing now and saving some to cool us down in summer

Definitely :) There's nothing like a winter scene at 90 degrees!

I like that perspective. About making resolutions whenever instead of only once a year.

No time like the present to make a change or start something new

And every day is a celebration 💥

Happy NY, T.

I hope this one is easier for you and yours. 🍀

Wow! Great photos of captivating flowers.

I was having fun reading the blog. As I looked closely at the photo of each flower, I meticulously examined and checked if it can be found here in the Philippines. If I'm not mistaken, the first flower was a Rose, isn't it?

And the rest of the flowers, I haven't seen them actually.

I have given up making New Years Resolutions because I didn't keep to them anyway, not even for a week, but over 4 years ago, I quit smoking for no reason during the year and I stopped drinking alcohol the same way even before, so why making any resolutions, I thought, it's easier that way 😃

Once more I wish you and your family all the best for a wonderful 2023, JJ 😊💫

I think thats the best way to be see the need for a change do it then, no putting it off for some set date and leaving it easier to change ones mind

Yep, most New Years Resolutions are broken within the first day, so it's easier when you decide for yourself.

Dried out flowers definitely have a beauty to them all their own. I have been known to keep roses in the house well past their best-before date just to see the colours on the withered petals become super brilliant.

Happy new year JJ, the pictures are looking wonderful especially the first one of the newly bloomed flower.
This new year will definitely be better than 2022 , we declare and believe, there's no need for resolutions too. We just learn from the past and do better in the future. Thank you for sharing and may you achieve the very best in 2023 :}

Haha, I did the same new year resolution some years ago after my friend told me about it.
Now, I just try to enjoy the ride and take what life comes.

I have this plant in my garden, it is called yerba del toro. The flower is tiny and very small, it looks like a small daisy. Then, when it dries, it looks like a little cotton ball. And yes, even if it is not fresh it looks sublime.
