Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

Good Morning may you all have a super Sunday the second to last one for the year well in fact the last day of the year, this year has been a crazy one in some ways for us, so I hope 2024will be a better year for us and for all of you

Happy New year

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

For this themes I decided this week to go with flowers, perhaps because its a rainy and windy morning here as I prepare this and I wanted to do some colorful images

Now as I have said often I am no expert on flowers so will not try and name what types of flowers all these area I think its a mix of Iris's and tulips.

Now I often say how although nicely manicured gardens are beautiful I much prefer the flowers i see when out on walks in parks and trails, so a preference for flowers growing in the wild, but as I was editing these photos earlier, I thought to myself is that the case or something I just say as I feel kind of bad that one thing i never picked up from my Father was his love of gardening.

He always had such well cared for gardens, both his vegetable gardens which whenever me and my wife would visit he would take us out and walk around his vege patches showing what was growing at the time and you could see both is is demeanor but also in his words and eyes how proud he was of his garden and then he would pick something to be cooked up for the meal that day.
He also had flower gardens around the property that also looked so tidy and beautiful

But that's something i did not get from him a green thumb, I have never had much success with my attempts at either flower patches or vege gardens

I love tulips, all flowers in general, but tulips even more.
