Sublime and Beautiful Sunday a few flowers

Good Morning i hope your weekend is going well, for this weeks post to these two tags I am going back to flowers, I am not an avid gardener I definitly do not have a green thumb, but my father had that he kept such a beautiful garden, both the flower gardens around their house and his vege garden, whenever my and my wife would visit their house before they past he would take us on a tour of his garden he was so proud of it, and would pick whatever was in season for the meal of the day.

now I do like seeing well maintained gardens, but to be honest I much prefer finding flowers grown wild beside trails growing free and not so precisely planted in rows and such.

and most of these photos I will share today are ones i found on walks mostly beside trails but a couple may have bene from someone's garden or a park I passed

Starting with an Iris, perhaps a bit weather beaten, but when I see an Iris it does make me think of my fathers garden, my mum loved them so Dad always had some.

I have no idea what type of plant this is but it caught my eye on a walk

I forget what these are called but I think they are beautiful especially with the colors of this one

Nice pictures, nature itself is a work of art, I can't stop contemplating every detail when I look at the beautiful flowers, have a nice day.

That third one, the purple one is allium. We have a few of those. One of our neighbors gave us some iris bulbs we planted several weeks ago. Hopefully they will do well next spring. Nice shots this morning 👍

Those are some good decorations for a sublime Sunday. It is mild and blue here for a bit of a change so I am going to have to get out in the garden.

wild flowers are more of surprises than garden flowers. There is something special about seeing a flower growing freely in its natural habitat but I'm sure your father is proud of the garden he created too.
