Sublime and Beautiful Sunday a few ducks

For this weeks post I thought i would share a few shots of some ducks I have seen by the Pond at Buttonwood Park here in New Bedford, some are recent some back in spring

Now pardon me but i am no expert on the various types of ducks so I wont even try to guess what type each one is

My excuse is for some reason I have a mental block with remembering names for anything or anyone, now numbers I can remember but just am terrible with names I may meet someon I havent seen for years, and for the life of me cannot remember there name, but if I ever had to call them I will remember their phone number

Weird I know

Just some that caught my eye when out walking starting with this character

This one I guess is a giveaway that it was back in spring a family moving across the pond , well not all the family just mum and the kids

now I could well be wrong but I think this one is a Wood Duck, whatever it is I think they sure have style

Each duck has it's own charming look, the ones you have are so colourful, excellent photography once again.

Happy Sunday! Oh names and numbers, numbers are easier to remember for me too, although names coming up are familiar they don't always stick....

Ducks really do have a great deal of colour and variation to them. When my oldest son was younger we used to go for walks in the park just to look at the ducks. He really enjoyed that.

The picture of the duck you took clearly shows the charming beauty of the duck. The colorful depict of the picture of the duck you took is different from here.

Wow, what an interesting duck.
We have started the hunting season. Last weekend, a lot of shots were heard on the lakes located across the river.

Great shots. I love the details like the yellow around the wood ducks eyes. Or the faint stripes on the head of the first duck.
