Piers through the year

Piers through the year

Anyone that has followed me for a while will know that I love walking by and of course taking photos of the piers here, mostly in the early morning light

I had a few shots edited that I had not shared yet so I thought I would share a few in todays post.

Starting at the pier at the end of the harbor walk here in new Bedford, a spot I often headed to for my morning walks.

In front of where i park my car is a little beach, and a rocky wall to walk step down to get to it, I have only gone down to the beach twice, the first time it was a cold icy morning and the rocks were very slippery and I feel damaged one of my lenses and broke a finger.

so I was hesitant to go down there again but not to long ago I did decide it was a warm morning and to head down there to get a shot of the pier from this angle, luckily I didn't slip and got the shot

The same pier from the angle I have got more shots of it from on a different day

and of course if I am sharing shots of a pier you know I am going to share shots of the Pier at Fort Tabor so here is a shot of it

OK a couple of shots of it, I dread to image how many photos I have taken of this pier from on the beach beside it

And back to the pier I started with from another angle, you can see the Hurricane barrier wall behind it

And yet again in the morning blues

And that’s all folks

it's very true what you said whoever he is who has followed you all this time, at least he must know that you really like to walk in the morning and in the evening, so do you. with the pier you show it very often, because in the morning to walk to enjoy the view of the sunrise is very impressive. enjoy the cool atmosphere around the pier it's something that makes our hearts peaceful.

Those are some awesome shots. I always enjoy coming back to look at them! Do you ever take shots from two totally different days and realize just how similar they are? I bet you must have a ironclad file organization system for all of them!

Thanks sometimes thta has happenned, but always a subtle difference between them
not sure about ironclad organization, have all my photos in lightroom and import them by date and plenty of keywords, but sometimes I still have trouble fining a photo I am looking for

If there one place I enjoy sending time when down emotionally I go to the water banks and truly at night time I love to see light reflections on the waters it gives me an awesome fantasy.

Reading your post daily is motivation. I admire the pictures here.

Fun post. I like seeing the same location in different lighting. Makes it seem so different but still connected.

Wow, what spectacular views, when I read your post I immediately identified myself, I said to myself "wow, I'm not the only one who likes to take pictures of the docks", it's also my favorite subject in photography. Greetings.
