more fall colors at the sawmill

At the edge of New Bedford’s urban North End sits The Sawmill, Sometimes called the Acushnet Sawmill, I am not sure if strictly speaking if it is in New Bedford or Acushnet oor maybe it covers both it is a a 19-acre former industrial lumber yard on the Acushnet River. This Buzzards Bay Coalition-owned public park protects the river’s health and offers local residents of all ages a beautiful place to explore the outdoors here at the Acushnet River Reserve

I visited there recently to catch some of the fall colors and thats what I am sharing today
I love this little viewpoint they have inthe pond, especially at this time of year with the gorgeous warm fall colors across the water

Of recent i have bene forgetting to do looking up shots, but this park is a great place to do them, and the good thing about shots like this in the woods looking up they do not induce Vertigo for people as badly as the looking up shots I used to do of the skyscrapers in NYC
love the splashes of warm color sin this one

I enjoyed a nice stroll around the sawmill the trails are not to long and wide enough to make it an easy walk for most people

Furthe ron my walk, some nice yellows and splashes of reds

Got to love this time of year, but as I often say its like mother nature teasing us with all these gloriois colors before winter moves in and all we have is the grey days of winter

That is a great looking up shot! The last one is really cool too with the reds peaking out here and there in the canopy.

As usual, my friends, your shots are amazing. The colors of autumn leaves are the most amazing.

it's my favorite time of year with the color of the trees... Here in Montreal, it's coming to an end, and the trees are starting to go bare 😀
Have a great day

Beautiful colors man! I love the shot looking up towards the tree tops. Did you lay on the ground for that one? I need to remember to do one of those!
