Moody Mornings
Moody Mornings
Good Morning I hope your day is going well
as Some of you may know I love getting out for early morning walks often catching the sunrise, the cool thing well for me I guess for some it may be frustrating is you never know what you may get to see at sunrise when you head out early.
sure I check weather apps and look at what clouds there may be but that gives just an idea your never sure what you will see
Now I often share photos of the nice warm and colorful sunrises and some people say I always see lovely sunrises
well this post is to show thats not always the case just on the moody ones I take less photos and do not share them so often
But for this post I thought I would share some shots from more moody mornings
Starting with this shot from a morning walk on the beach at Fort Tabor
the sunrise was nothing at all but I stayed after the sunrise to get my steps in and got this shot

this next one was another day where it was so cloudy and grey you could hardly tell the sun had risen till a while later where it briefly appeared for a minute in a break in the clouds and I got this shot
Sony A7iv 358mm F11 1/1000 Sec ISO 125

Now this next shot may not look so moody but its a long exposure to bring out some light and colors and was after a very moody sunrise walk on the beach and I stopped briefly at Buttonwood park waiting till the supermarket opened
Sony A7iv 19mm F8 125 Sec ISO 125

Now according to the weather apps there was not to many clouds and I thought a good chance of a nice sunrise and I drove to Neds Point hoping for some shots of the lighthouse with nice sunrise colors in the background.
but that was not meant to be and it was a moody sky

and another shot of the Lighthouse
Sony A7iv 50mm F8 2 Sec ISO 100

and another morning walk I took at Fort Tabor it was grey and moody which was good to take a longer exposure and get somewhat silky water

.Beautiful photos... it's always hard to get the right conditions for a good photo, especially in the morning... despite that, your photos are really good.
Enjoy your day.
thanks, what I love about morning walks is you never know what your going to get
The best thing about going out early at sunrise is that you always see beautiful images in different shades, that's lovely. Happy day @tattoodjay
thanks and have a great day
I had to battle the fog to get into work this morning. Yesterday morning there was a thunderstorm the whole way in, so that was interesting as well. My wife said the sky looked really weird once the sun tried to come up through the storm clouds. I love that second photo. It's pretty amazing.
sounds like your having interesting trips to work, today on my walk there was a nice mist over the water loved seeing that
Yeah, it has been some crazy weather lately. I wish it would just decide what it wants to do. I guess it is still better than a hurricane!
Ohh yes for sure a lot better
raining here this morning, missed getting out for a walk
My friend @tattoodjay I totally understand your bad mood. I'm on a little vacation over here. My daughter and I have plans for tomorrow but one of the two weather apps she usually checks says it will rain and the other says it won't rain hahaha. We don't know so to avoid it might affect our spirits we will make alternate plan. Anyway I'm glad she was able to walk even though the conditions were not as she wanted. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos and your experience 🤗.
the photos may be moody but getting out for a walk whatever the conditions are like always puts me in a good mood
good Luck for tomorrow its always hard ot know which weather forecast to believe
Thank you friend for your comment and good wishes 😊.
👍🙂👍
nature at its best
👍🙂👍
The cloudy morning seems appropriate backdrop for the lighthouse. They are there for the stormy weather 🙂
thats a very good point :)
The pictures are awesome. Enjoy and be safe.
Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
Have a great day
Even though not as popular as "sunny" pictures, the moody and grey do give off a "nostalgic" vibe and at least makes me think of a story about a drearier day. It has its own charm I suppose.
thats a good way to look at it
Hello dear friend @tattoodjay good day
Morning walks are a real lottery, and buba you know when you are lucky and you will get beautiful sunrises
I love these photographs, despite being gray sunrises they have a lot of charm

The first image, a fantastic sunrise, sir, and I think it's also poetic. That looks like it could inspire a song! The other images are no less amazing! But, indeed I agree with your choice. 👍🙂
