Jones Beach at Sunrise
Jones Beach at Sunrise
Good Morning i hope life is treatuing you well
For today I will share a few shots of an early morning visit I did recently to JOnes Beach, wellI guess to be more precise I should say Jones Park.
It is a Park in Dartmouth MA, neighbouring New Bedford where I live, it has a childrens playground a large green area, and only a smallish parking area which I guess may make it a challenge for some in summer if wanting to spend some time on the beach.
and it is the beach area I will focus on for this post, and here is a shot of the shoreline of the beach

the main beach is a nice wide sandy beach complete with a couple of lifeguard towers, which as you probably know when I see one I have to get some shots of them LOL, across the water is New Bedford along the West Beach shoreline
and speaking of the lifeguard towers as someone mentioned the other day the sign with no Lifeguard on duty.
now my thought son this I guess its a good thing to have that sign up when there are no lifeguards on duty, but then I also ask myself are those people who cannot notice there is no lifeguard on or near the tower going to actually spot and read the sign!!!
Now not wanting to sound old and grumpy, but perhaps I am saying this because i am old and grumpy, is it something about the times that people are so unobservant and not able to think clearly for themselves that there is a need for so many signs out and about by all kinds of things these days
ones that spring to mind are in ageothermal park where the water is bubbling away and clearly, well to me that the water is boiling theres a sign - caution water is hot
let me stop there or I will go on a rant LOL

These are beautiful scenes to behold. I feel like I'm sitting on that chair right now enjoying the cool breeze from the sea and the serene environment.
thanks I hope all is well with you :)
Beautiful shots! It's because people are so quick to look to place blame and want to sue someone these days. If that wasn't the case, most of the signs wouldn't be necessary!
thanks and yes your so right, its sad time shave gone this way
Your shots of Jones Beach at sunrise are stunning! There’s something so serene about the early morning glow on the water, and the contrast between the sandy and rocky sections of the beach is beautifully captured😮
😂🤣😂
Lovely colors this post. Pink, orange, yellow with the deep blues 👍
