Friday a visit to the zoo
a visit to the zoo
Good Morning and have a great day
I have visited the bouttonwood park a few times this year, I bought a season park ticket and making the most of it
Its not a big zoo, but a nice one and close to where i live, I have planned to visit the bigger zoo in Providence RI but havent made it there yet, but for now happy with visiting the local zoo which I have done a few times recently
let me start with this bison, I was luckily enough to be at the zoo after it had bene running around chasing one of the deer, and then felt like it needed a rest and lay down and took a rest
Dont worry he is fine and after a couple of minutes was up walking around again

This is one of the deer, not sure if it was the one the bison was chasing

That coyote is laying the same way my dog used to when she was still with us. Very interesting. Around here coyotes are considered varmints and you can hunt them without needing a proper license. It's more to protect the other wildlife than an actual usefulness sort of thing. Awesome shots. How cool to have a little zoo like this so close.
The eagle said: Who are you? 😁
The place is nice and I'm sure lots of kid wanted to visit the place.😊
The picture of the eagle is stunning. Did you zoom in or go closer to the eagle? It was timely and the depth of field is unbelievable

I love the shot of the Bald Eagle! Thanks for sharing your photos!
Nice shots! Good old coyotes, they are everywhere in the desert, it makes driving at night a hazard as well as the deer! The birds of prey are beautiful aren't they? You managed to get some good pictures around the wire.
I hope you're feeling better!
A fantastic photographic record at the zoo @tattoodjay friend!... Thanks alot for sharing!

These are clean shots. Well-done. Are you allowed to take cameras into zoos over there. In most zoos here, you either pay a premium at the zoo gate or you're outrightly banned from taking photos at all.
These are amazing photos.
I thought that first animal, bison was lifeless but from your write up I realized it was merely resting.
I love that white headed eagle. It's been a long time I sketched one.
Nice zoo shots. My favorite is the bald eagle. We have them on our lake sometimes but none yet this year.
Beautiful photos especially the Bald eagle.
Is this zoo all "local" species?
I grew up going to the Bronx Zoo here In NY. My first kiss was in the reptile house!or was it the nocturnal house? I forget! It was On a camp trip! I remember it was by the naked mole rats. That’s my camp trip to zoo story 😂
I like this song called visiting the zoo but I think it’s about the singer visiting his ex 😂

Oh, I thought that bison was dead.
I'm watching the Western TV series "Son" right now, and there the pale faces were killing bison for their skins. The pictures turned out to be the same.
