Good morning all I wish you all a good day
for todays post I am going to share a few shots from Fort Tabor Park here in New Bedford A place I used to visit so often for my early morning walks, I haven't made it there this year yet but have plenty of photos in my archives that I had not got around to editing and sharing so I prepared some for todays post.

This first shot is a view I am not sure I have shared before, I often park just inside the gate of the park and cross the road, seeing this view but most times at this stage my camera is still in my bag and I walk down to the beach and then get the camera out and start taking photos.
But on this morning as I saw this view and the nice colors I stopped and took a shot from this point

These shots are from a few visits to the park so not in order of time taken just picked at random to share

here I am on the beach, where I pretty much always start my walks when visiting the park, often it is still dark when I start my walks, not in the case of this photo however this must have bene fairly close to the sunrising, some nice colors in the sky and on the horizon.

Looking back the other way on the beach on another day a lot longer exposure at 60 seconds so must have bene well before sunrise. the white line on the horizon in the middle is a fishing boat heading out

Looking towards the pier on another day quite a moody sky but nice warm colors on the horizon

I really like the composition of the first shot. That tree over on the left side really balances the whole thing. Beautiful shots! I'm looking forward to being able to get out on walks. We are getting a mess of rain today, so definitely no walks today!

I managed to get out for a walk yesterday by the pond, covered in ice and a cool breeze but was good to get out today would be good for a walk but between my wifes physical therapy and picking up the grand daughter from school not sure I will get a chance

That happens sometimes I guess. Our snow is pretty much all gone now. Temps hitting close to 50 and lots of rain really takes a toll on the white stuff!

Good god man that first shot is exploding with colour and contrast! I might get my ass out of bed early if there was a view like that to be held here on a morning walk!

Thanks I did get lucky that morning

Since my wife broke her shoulder I havent been out for morning walks, I do miss them but until she fully recovers and can safely get up out of bed by herself i am skipping morning walks

Have to say some of them look unreal, like taken out of a video game, the deep blue of the sky looks awesome, must be very low pollution too, have never seen sky like that in the city i live, thx for sharing, very nice pictures ✌️

Thanks I do give them an artsy style edit sometimes, but yes the skies here are so much clearler than those I saw in NYC

Gorgeous color on that first photo. I'm more of a fan of sunsets, but that sunrise is quite nice.

I like the first image... it reminds me of Hawaii, but on the other end where there are no tropical trees.

the sunset view is extraordinary, especially with the nuances of Sunset which of course makes me feel extraordinary and of course I have experienced something like this while on the seafront
